I have had Republic Services Inc for my trash pickup company for several years. I finally had enough at the end of September 2021 of receiving calls for the past three months saying that either trash pickup would be delayed until the next day or until the next week due to lack of workers for pickup. When calling the company to let them know they missed a pickup or to get credit for a missed pickup, I would wait a half hour on hold waiting to get a human to talk to in ******** ** office. One of the worst trash services I had. I only we have an option, we would not go to this company to get trash services. We opened our account 3 weeks ago and still up to this moment we have not received our canisters even after calling everyday and being promised that they will send it out on each day I am calling.

Horrible service!! I paid 3 months in advance and my trash has never been picked up on time!! They are steeling peoples money for a service that is required to be a weekly pickup. I spoke to a corporate worker and 3 managers and nothing was resolved!! Let me also add they they do not actually dump there recycle into the land field its stored as regular dump! HORRIBLE!

Today Republic Services told me that I can't cancel my service until next month.I called them today (Nov. 2) because I failed to cancel my service when I sold my house on October 15th. My last service with Republic was October 22nd.Rather than retroactively registering the termination of my service on the day my house exchanged ownership, Republic Services claims that I can't cancel my service until over a month from today (Dec 6th). This company is a joke! If I didn't have to have them, I wouldn't. Hoping my HOA has received enough complaints from the residents here to change. They're drivers can't seem to find the GIANT pile of treat trimmings at my curbside to pickup. I requested pickup 2 weeks in advance and they claim I had nothing out on that Wednesday. I followed up the day after no pickup, the gentleman put me on a missed pickup on Friday. As of Friday at 4pm, no pickup, I called. ******* told me they had until 6:30pm. Understood. Please listen to me before you sign up for their services. Absolutely no is the answer. They haven't picked up the trash for three weeks in a row and recycle stuff for consecutive two times. Even they sent email to notify me that they would delay one day to pick up the trash (and recycling) for some reason. However the missed pickup never happened. It forced me to turn to other service provider.

I had my senior citizen parents cancelled their service with this company. It appears they like to price ***** customers. Upon cancelling the service, they were advised they would be charged $30 for removal of canisters. When they finally got the new ****, they are charging $30 per canister removal. I spoke with a manager and was advised its the companies policy to charge a removal fee per canister, however their policy on there website does not indicate ****** appears they are in the market to price ***** customers. Man oh man is this company trash (no pun intended). I pay these people to pick up my garbage and recycling every single week and have since 01/01/2021. In that time they have probably only picked up my recycling 50% of the time and each of those times i had to call to have them come back sometimes days later to pick up. The last 2 weeks have gone without issues and i was feeling like they changed their ways and trying to do better. Well, they arent. I am very angry because with me being a major procrastinator and this time instead of procrastinating, actually making a call to Republic services and scheduling a pickup for the mattress from my dad's bed after he was hospitalized and needed a hospital bed. I made sure to remember by setting an alarm on my phone to remember to have someone put it out next to trash can. Imagine my surprise when I looked out after 10AM and the mattress was on my lawn.
