They incrementally increase the price for service every billing cycle. Last increase was 19%.I called to cancel after getting another provider. They offered to drop my rate by 40%. If they could afford to do that then it only proves that they had been overcharging all along. I cancelled their service on 9/24/21. i have been calling them 20 times since september 2021 to cancel my trash pickup & remove the container as I have sublease the place & the new tenant does not need Republic services. My 82 year old dad (on fixed income) was complaining to me about his trash service with Republic Services was costing so much. So I checked on it. They were charging him $214 per Quarter!I had service with them as well. I don't need a resolution. I had him to cancel immediately and called to cancel mine as well. If I didn't live in a community that has the trash contracted through the **** I would have canceled the trash service with Republic! They missed my trash pickup, how I don't know as they got all three of my neighbors which is lined up with mine. I called and customer service said they would have someone come by on Monday. Republic Trash services is Really bad! I wish I can give negative star for their review. I have requested additional services but the sale reprehensive never update my schedule. My call got cut off and nobody call me back to follow up ( they have my number on file). Then I have to call them every single week for additional service and check when they would be able to update my schedule. I have figured it out everybody, please listen: If we all keep the bins that are sitting on our property and refuse payment (or even just tell them it was already picked up), they will eventually run out of them and therefore be forced to go out of business like they should have done a long time ago. As you have seen, I had set up an extra pickup as I just moved into my home last week. They did not show up for the extra pickup. Called and was told that it was rescheduled for my regular pickup day which doesn't work because I work. I told them not to do the extra pickup, just the regular one. They then missed the pickup on the regular day. I called at 7:30 am when they open the next day and was told they would come that same day to make up for the missed pickup. I'm done with these guys. No trash pickup for 3 weeks. No way to get local response or resolution. I called the local customer support number and I'm talking to some lady in **************; meanwhile, here in Central Mass. I called 2.5weeks ago to have a couch pick up which I am entailed to. I was scheduled for pick up for October 28th, the day came and went and couch was still there. We called Friday and spoke again with ***** who Apologized and said they would pick it up by end of day Friday and that she would escalate the problem and the management team would call me.
