Republic services is unreliable at best and have a terrible reputation in our neighborhood. They have missed pickups many times in the years I've been utilizing their service and when we contact the company their policy (in my opinion) is to tell you they've rescheduled your pickup for the next day just to get you off the phone. Due to the snow, Republic services has not picked up our garbage for about a month now, and now they are on strike? The mail person is able to make it to our neighborhood but yet the garbage trucks aren't? This is happening to most of our city of North Bend. We should not be charged for a service we did not receive.

From the looks of the over **** reviews with an average score of 1.2 of a possible score of 1 through 5, I suspect my review will not surprise anyone such as ************ But I have been speaking with your customer ******************** people for 3 days in a row concerning failure to collect recycling for our entire street. I scheduled bulky item pickup well in advance, and on the scheduled day it was not picked up which was Friday 1/7. I called that same day in the afternoon and they could not reach dispatch, but I was told it would be picked up the next day Saturday. It was not. I called on Monday am and they said it would be picked up, which it was not. I again called on Tuesday morning and was told it would be picked up. That's today. IT WAS NOT. Continual problems with getting scheduled pickup of trash/recycle. Never a credit issued unless the customer demands. After waiting 20 minutes for a real person, was informed that they are no longer picking up recycle. As of last week we were told they were delayed in picking up recycle. No prior notification of recycle cancellation. No information given on how to handle recycle until they restart pickup. Very poor communication. **** poor at best, they missed my normal pickup and lied to me for 3 days saying that they would send someone out to pick up my trash. All they do is lie and blow smoke up your **** to make you wait until your normal pickup date, they know your screwed and can't do anything about it so they don't care. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE TERRABLE. I used 1 star because there isn't anything lower.

I have had Republic services for about 5 years now we started with a **** about $80 dollars for 3 months for a single trash can, continued with same service over time but **** has risen well over $200.00. We called a many times lower **** they brought it down to about $120.00 then kicked it back up the next cycle to $180.00, one reps said "we need to charge you for fuel and service now(and city, county, state taxes, admin fees)" they **** in advance for there service; so at this point we are so busy work, kids in school as e... read more

Terrible! I am house sitting. I called Thursday to see why the trash had not been picked up. They said they had many drivers out, due to illness, and it would be picked up on Friday. 2pm and trash is still waiting. However, this company had just taken over the previous trash service, I'm sure they are overwhelmed by the doubling of their service area and didn't retain the drivers of the other company. The owners come back Monday and the trash will probably still be sitting out front...waiting.

Our trash pick up occurs on Mondays. We were informed that our trash would be picked up on the next day, Tuesday, since it snowed on Monday. It is now Friday and no ones trash, on our street, has been picked up. Peoples trash cans are overflowing. Ive contacted their customer service department twice, but there doesnt seem to be a sense or urgency.
