Missed my recycling pick up 2 weeks ago. I call 6 different times to ask for a missed pick up. Each time, I was told to leave my recycling out and it would be picked up the next day. Each time I stressed to them that we live in a **********, raccoon area and that leaving out is dangerous because animals spread it everywhere. Republic garbage pick up is GARBAGE! I have not had my garbage picked up in 3 weeks. Before THAT pick up was weeks, and so forth. What went wrong with your company? I WILL NOT pay for my next ****. I'm paying and you don't pick up my garbage so I'm not giving you a dime anymore. *********************..

We have had Republic at this address since 2016, and have never been able to log in and view our ****. We can only use the one time payment option. And I have called and asked for help, but they have given me the same excuse for the last few years. And on the one time payment, you have to have your account number. I didn't have a **** lying around, so I didn't know mine or have a way to pay my **** until one came in. On 1/14/22 I paid off my **** in full. DO NOT GET TRASH/RECYCLING SERVICES FROM REPUBLIC SERVICES OF TENLEYTOWN/TENLEYTOWN TRASH/REPUBLIC SERVICES. It all started when Republic Trash purchased Tenleytown Trash (in DC) in 2021. Their services not only declined drastically, but they essentially stopped picking up trash and recycling. The reason - most of their employees left! Drivers are actually great. Company policy and customer service from the ********************** is awful. We did not receive service for three collection days in a row because of weather and then the fourth collection day after that was cancelled because of an employee strike. We essentially went five weeks in our area with trash, recycling, and compost just piling up everywhere. It got to be quite the situation. My neighbor cancelled her service with republic service and they came and picked up my containers! I called right away since I saw the truck leave and they told me that the earliest time to get them back was next Wednesday! I told the rep I JUST saw them take them. She told me there was nothing she could do. Spoke to management and it was the same scripted answer but with a bad attitude. My container went missing after a pickup on 1/12/22. I've called just about every other day to get a replacement delivered. I've been promised delivery dates 3-4 times and they've never delivered. **************** is courteous, but can't affect delivery. The ************** is unresponsive. They have been notified to call. No calls have been received for 3 weeks. I've offered to pick up the container myself. This option is not available...likely some COVID excuse.Disfunctional, unresponsive. Make promises but deliver nothing.

I called and cancelled my service at the end of a very underwhelming two year term that included the truck getting grease on my containers multiple times which ruined articles of clothing. I was then charged $60 for cans to be picked up even though I was told by a representative that I would not be charged further and no other charges would be forthcoming. Horrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.
