We have been forced to use Republic Services in our village for several years now. Their service is poor. When their workers deliberately miss our house for garbage/ recycling pick up, it is infuriating. Our instructions are to have the bins out by 6 am on pick-up mornings. We comply and leave our waste on our curbs the night before. Depending on the day, the workers will skip our home; never to return. I would give Republic Service zero stars if possible. Ive fought with them over the date of cancellation of my account. I called to cancel my account prior to the next billing cycle but it wasnt entered properly and I had to call at least three times to get it figured out. They had to listen to the recording of when I called to cancel service. Thankfully they had that because they werent about to believe me. I had a service with this company for a couple of years before calling to discontinue my services due to not picking up my trash for numbers on time. I finally decided to cancel the service. 3 months later, I have received a **** that included 2 month services that I have not had. It should be noted that I was expecting a refund of a month that I have paid in advance prior to cancelling. Not that I have not received the refund, I was billed $67 and some change. I am extremely disappointed in the billing practices of Republic Service and their customer service on the phone. We do not use yard waste in the winter from January-March. We never do. They can not put in their system to NOT charge us for this service we do not use. They like to **** us and then we call and they say well you have to pay for it because you are calling when you got the ****. What????? They delivered a 30 yard dumpster on 01/06/2022 that my boyfriend ordered with his card, not mine. I called Republic Services on Jan 10th and asked to have it picked up and also asked if there was going to be an additional charge to have it returned to us. The representative said no. I asked again, "Are you sure? Because if there's a charge, I'd just like to know about it and there's no miscommunication." There was no mention of a charge whatsoever in that call on the 10th. Absolutely horrible. Had service for a month and only been picked up once. They don't know why. Can't tell me why. They "escalate" the complaint calls and that's as far as it goes. Because it had been so long since the last pick up, obviously there would be extra trash. They seriously just emptied their can and left the rest. Yesterday was the scheduled day and they just now came. For the second time. Ever. If you want consistent trash pick up, don't use these clowns.

They miss trash pick-*** at least once a month. Then dont return to get your trash for weeks. Honestly I dont know how they get away with charging for a service then not providing it.

Very poor customer service. They will not call back when you have a problem. Did not pick up trash , then ask for a credit , they said no.They always have an excuse why they didnt pick the trash up.But they want their payment beforehand and you dont get the service that you paid for.

We pay for trash pickup every week. They may pick it up twice a month if were lucky! This has been going on for months now. We call them, they promise to pick up within the next couple of days which never happens! Ive never had this much trouble with any business in my life! Trash overflowing with no where to put it! They have no problem with taking our money for a job that they never complete! Something has to be done about this. They have a monopoly in this area. No other trash pickup in this area.
