If you want to save yourself a lot of aggravation find another provider for trash service. In the 4 months of service with Republic I have been 6 phone calls with them disputing incorrect charges. Upon signing up for their service i asked for the largest trash bin (95 gallon) and i was delivered the 64 gallon container. After a couple weeks i called and they agreed to correct the problem and switch out the bins. A simple request to get my trash cart replaced due a broken wheel takes weeks (still not been replaced as I am writing this review) I have requested 3 times to their website and each time I received a case number in the email. But my trash cart was never replaced on the promised dates. I am beginning to see why they are receiving 1.06/5 star rating in their reviews.

Watch out for the contract. They will nickle and dime you with all kinds of additional fee's. This caused us to look for alternatives. The contract protects them of any liability, so read it carefully. To cancel service republic requires certified mail return requested even though they acknowledge a cancelation request via email and then will not cancel for 60 days. They are the crazy girlfriend that will not leave. STAY AWAY!!!

I was a customer of ********************** since April, 2015. We always paid our **** on time (electronically) but finally cancelled service after yet another price increase. I cancelled our service near the end of November, as we were paid through November 30th - in plenty of time to cancel prior to the next billing cycle. I was told they would be out in a week and half to pick up the containers. I know this will be a repetitive complaint about this business, but the more exposure the better. Heartland Trash was bought out by Republic Services in July 2021. It has been a nightmare for the community every since. Because I understand that transitions take time to work out kinks, I was being patient and understanding, especially towards the office staff, as I know they weren't getting the best phone calls on a daily basis. I am taking care of my Aunt's account, she has Dementia.We have not had garbage pickup for 5 weeks. I have called, as well as the Caretaker. We were both told they would send out an email (4times), and I was told I would have a return call twice (never happened).To complain via email, I would have to open an account. Requested services, paid and even got a trashcan but trash was not picked up accordingly. 2 weeks later after calling, was told that my house is no safe and they cant provide services! NO Further explanation!!! Now sending a **** even they canceled and never picked up my trash!!! NEED AN EXPLANATION and SERVICE!

i closed my republic service on 12/10 and requested a refund in the amount $261.37 and until this date 02/12/22 i did not get my refund. i called multiples times for refund and i am not getting to able to get my refund from them and resolve the issue. shame on you republic service your not able to issue a refund in tow months.

Republic purchased Rainbow trash services for the ****************, ** area. WORST trash service ever. Customer service is NOT knowledge, gives WRONG advice/information, refuses to provide resolutions to problems, If you dispute an issue, a Dispute case is open and then NOTHING is ever resolved and it is NEVER followed up to solve the problems. We own several shopping centers and are held hostage by this company. Had to contact the City of HB public works **** to get a little help. Still struggling with them.
