We have had enough of this company and the continually missed pick-*** while they still expect to have payment on time with outrageous fuel surcharges. I spent several weeks trying to get our trash picked up, calling multiple times a day with no results. They are obviously having issues and recently changed our pick-up day to "better serve their clients". Guess that plan didn't work as they have missed it yet again yesterday. We will be moving our business to a company that actually shows up.

I closed my account June 1, 2023 with a credit on my account and have not received it. I have called 3 times.

We have used Republic Services for more than 8 years, but when our last contract was renewed thing went south big time. At first things were normal maybe a missed pickup and credited, but then their trucks started leaking all over our parking lot. The drivers were "squeezing" their loads to make room and horrid stuff was spewing out of the bottom of the truck and smelled like dead animals. This went on for months! We cancelled service with this company a year ago due to missing our trash and refusing to pick it up. Now our entire road has not been picked up in over a week. 6-7 residents out of 9 on our road have dumpsters still out. Many overflowing with trash, trash on the ground, all over yards, all over the road. I called customer service but they refused to address this issue and kept asking for my account number stating that is their only way to look up a road to given an answer. Had the unpleasant experience of encountering one of their drivers in one of their smaller mechanic vehicles. The driver was brake checking cars, driving in between the lanes as to intentionally not allow cars to pass, and generally not being safe. I wanted to get away from their reckless driving and had an opportunity to pass them. Negative stars should be an option. Company routinely misses a week a month but expects payment in full. $160. A qtr with the fuel charge. Ive called and been assured two times our trash would be picked up but still havent had service. 3 weeks no pickup. Multiple calls and post cards but no service. Cancelling service after next pick up but trash services arent easily accessible in my neighborhood.

Republic Services suspended my service over an $11.01 late fee - THAT WAS NOT LATE! I pay all my bills through my 'bill pay' service provided by my bank. When the money leaves my bank account, I cannot control when Republic Services receives or cashes the check. (I send it a week before the due date). The 3 months bill for Republic is $89.85. If it is late, they charge five dollars and change. The first time it was late by a couple of weeks and I received a phone call from them asking where the check was. I located the date ... read more

My trash can was taken on the day of our trash pickup. We pay for the service through our property taxes. I reached out to our local office and they assured me a can would be delivered to my house the next day. I still have not received a new can and cannot reach anyone to help with the issue.
