Signed up with the expectation of the price provided and was hit with multiple additional fees including a fuel surcharge fee that surpassed the service fee. All in all, it appears the price is $40/quarter higher than advertised.

I finally got fed up with NEVER knowing if our garbage was going to be picked up when scheduled. I called and spoke to Blessing with Republic Services 8/3/23. I was informed that my garbage pickup that was scheduled for two days ago is now scheduled for next week. That is AGAIN a week after scheduled pickup. I am so tired of this. They have missed more pick *** than I've actually received. I've called and called asking them to be sure I am on the work order. Was told repeatedly they would be picking up and now I'm going on three weeks with no pick up when I've paid in full. Don't use this service at all....it's the worst in East *****

Doubled the cost of services for the year, then when we tried to cancel with them they agreed to match their competitors price for a year of service. Since then they have slowly been hitting us with random charges, and harassing phone calls demanding payment on those charges when we were paid for a year. Almost weekly since their argeement to match the competition price we have had to go to our local office to get the arbitrary charges removed. I have decided to quit using Republic Services because of a large increase in price for services. They have informed me that they are going to charge me $53.45 to come and pick up THEIR cans. I find this unacceptable. It's their property - why should I pay them to retrieve their property? This amount is excessive in my opinion.

Trying to cancel service, somehow they auto renewed my business for another 3 years. Now want over **** to cancel. This is after my bill has gone up $180 a month over the past 2 years. I would never recommend their service to anyone

Two weeks in a row my Trash has not been picked up. When I called, the Representative was rude. I have been in the same location for 20 years. Before Republic bought up all the trash services in town I never had an issue with trash being picked up, and the services were friendly. It goes to show that there is an issue with the Corporation, if none of its employees are happy. And that roles down to affect the service and the customers.

Its been four months since Republic Services has picked up our recycling. They consistently miss their pick up date with no notice or warning. Every time I call they assure me it will be picked ** in the next 48 hours. Four months later and our recycling is still waiting to be picked up. I will be canceling all services from Republic.

If you have another option for trash removal - take it. It's 97 degrees out this week and they didn't collect any trash LAST FRIDAY, so our whole neighborhood's trash cans are overflowing and are now covered in maggots.I've called them twice now as have our neighbors and they keep acting concerned and saying "oh, we're so sorry, we'll send someone immediately. That was three days ago, and of course nobody's picked the trash up.I wonder how they'd like it if we all dumped our trash right in front of their business in Fairfax?... read more
