Republic service began increasing my rates for their service. The problem with that is that they sent me invoices for their service, which I paid, then afterward said oh by the way we increased your rate, you owe us more money. When I rejected the increase and terminated their service they turned over the extra amount to a collection agency. What business invoices a customer, get that invoice paid and then raise rates for an invoice that's already paid. I am extremely unhappy with Republic. Back in July, they notified me they would not be able to service me due to the shape of my driveway. I agree it was bad but they offered to come out to see if there was any other location we could place the dumpster. That never happened. Instead, I received a letter stating they were discontinuing service in our area. I then asked for a refund for the missed pickups in July. What I received was a bill for August, then a bill for September, past due notices, etc. They did pick up the cont... read more

Terrible company- no communication about when they wont be able to pick up trash and recycle as expected. We moved here to OP from **** 6 months ago and never did I think there were going to be so many issues. I would never recommend republic services to any neighborhood or person as they dont do the job thats in the contract. We will be leaving them ASAP!

Company does not deserve any stars. This company is not delivering on prepaid services. Prior to September we would have at least one pickup missed per month. Out of 5 scheduled pickups for September, only ONE was achieved. One missed was rescheduled and never picked up. I am currently on my third week of missed pickups. Lots of unfulfilled promises, Never can talk to the same person.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Absolutely no communication at all. After not picking up trash in two weeks at our business, then getting rude when we called to see when they were coming. Finally, got tired of dealing with their nonsense and tried to cancel services. We called daily (they never pick up their phone), we emailed and were told we had to call, and finally I sent a certified letter cancelling our service and requesting them to pick up their bin. I'd give no stars to this company. They overcharge for their services and then when you cancel they charged me $87.66 to remove the toters. This place will rob you with their variable fuel recovery fees which appear arbitrary and are not explained on your bill. There is a reason this place is not accredited by the BBB. They would never stand up to the scrutiny. I would like to know how to get involved in their class action law suit regarding overcharging. I feel abused by this company,

Republic Services is the worst ever. i had so many problems having dumpsters dropped off and picked up. First they refused to pick up a dumpster because we supposedly didn't have the correct paperwork ( used them twice before that and driver did not require paperwork), turns out the driver could read and had us confused with another company that required the paperwork. this incident resulted in us having to wait another 3 days before they picked up the dumpster. Just sent our recycles in the trash truck. ******** supposed to be picked up two weeks ago, second missed pickup in three months. Called ******* three times, drove to ***********, ** facility, sick of your lies and "service"

Absolute shameful business practices. I am absolutely aware that inflation is an issue and the price of fuel has increased. In less than 2 years I went from 60 dollars per quarter to 215. This is nearly a 300 percent increase in prices. This is price gouging. REPUBLIC Services purchased All Star Disposal and Recycling creating a Monopoly on the local trash services. Standard cut and paste answers are not the solution for a lack of accountability this corporation shows.
