This place deserves zero stars. They are thee worst trash company I have ever used in my entire life. I have been getting robbed by this company for 2 years. They miss trash pick up days consistently. Always having driver or truck issues but still happy to charge you for the weeks they do not come. In the last 2 years they average coming to pick up trash about once a month. They never pick up any over flow trash from their missed days because they are cart pick up only and so they do not pick up any bags next to the carts. I... read more

We recently received a 30% increase in our bill and when we called to ask why, we were told that they would drop it back down. I was very confused by that and the fact that a customer who didn't call would still be charged the higher amount. Seems like very underhanded service. Needless to say we found another service in our area and now Republic is charging us to pick up their container even though we had to pay for it when we got it.

Republic Services:Overcharges, did not perform the agreed services. Once I canceled Republic Services, I was told that all services was discontinued, the bins would be removed and a credit was to be issued for Service that had not been performed. I contacted Republic regarding the credit and was told that it was being sent in the mail.I have now received an email stating that an invoice is available and that I can "Pay Online". I truly wish I could give them zero stars. I've had to call them 6 times in the past month to come and pick up trash with 5 of those times being in the last week. After 4 promises of pick up and it still wasn't, I was told today they don't have drivers in my area so that's why my trash wasn't picked up. If a company can't operate in an area because of no employees, maybe they shouldn't service that area. I will be cancelling my service. I am a mobile veterinarian and have a mobile clinic. I was parked in front of a client's house to perform surgery on their puppy. I had to park exactly where I did in front of their house to avoid parking in front of the fire hydrant in the northwest corner of their front lot. Since it was trash day, I had moved the client's trash bin so that the trash truck could easily get it. Their recylcling bin was already quite a ways away from my mobile clinic. They have not picked up trash on my street for a week! They have consistently missed trash pickup on my street, for the last 3 months. They are supposed to pickup Tuesdays and Fridays, and they only pickup once a week, if we are lucky. The area manager does not seem to care either. I have called to escalate my concerns multiple times. I live in a mobile home community, and they miss my street every single time! Republic Service needs to credit everyone on my street.

Called to have a sofa picked up on 6/2 was supposed to be picked up 6/07; tomorrow starts week 4 of this couch sitting in my front lawn, right by my trash can, and still has not been picked up. I have called about this situation 5 times. I have not surprisingly been billed for it already, but service as not been rendered. The last two times I've called I was told I would receive a call back by end of business day. Again that has not happened. I got a bill for $152.96 in March for next 3 months. I called and canceled the end of March. Never being told there was a charge for picking up the can. (Been a customer for about 18 years.) I called about my refund finally in May. The refund was only $75.21. Less than 1/2 of what I paid them!!! That is ridiculous $77.75 to drive 25 miles to pick up can.

Terrible. In the last 5 weeks they have picked up trash once. They even drove right by my house and didn't stop. Called to get a missed pick up and they missed the missed pick up. They are nice when I call but do not fix the problem.
