Stay away from Republic Services!!! The local provider is in *********** **. The same service had gone up almost $200.00 over the last 2 years. When I received the bill in December for the next year, I immediately called and cancelled. They came out in early December and picked up the carts. At this point it still shows I have a bill for $429.00 for this calendar year when I cancelled before it began and already had a new disposal service. I'm not usually one to write reviews, especially about entire companies, but this I feel is necessary. On October 24, 2022 I contacted Republic and was placed on the bulk pick-up list for the following day, October 25, 2022. By afternoon of the 25th, it was clear our bulk had been left. I contacted Republic and was assured I was on the list and overlooked by accident and that a truck would be by no later than 4 PM the following day to recover the trash. I'd give them a zero rating if I could. We've been using Republic Services for years. They increase our fees every billing cycle. We canceled our services in the first week of a new billing cycle. Our can was dumped 1 time. Our bill is $101.68 for Jan. 01 thru March 31 (13 weeks). We were told that our bill would be pro-rated and only charged for the 1 dump which is $7.82. ***DO NOT USE*** Very Dishonest Business!! Poor Customer Relations and very deceptive. ************** charges significantly increased by 224% from previous quarter without notice or communication. When I contacted Republic Services, they contradicted themselves trying to explain why the drastic $$$ increase. First they stated it was due to the area and fuel upcharge, however, my next door neighbor who also uses their services, same truck pick up, her bill was slightly increased to $138 quarterly. I'm a 4-plex owner in *****, ****, sharing a dumpster with the owner of the other 4-plex next to **, and Republic Services has serviced the dumpster for many years. Our bill increased dramatically and without adequate notice. I have called multiple times to inquire & cancel service. I've been told the local rep had to do everything, so wait for them to call. It took over a week for a call, when I missed the call and called back within 3 minutes she was unavailable. I asked if someone else could help & as requested began to explain. One star because they pick up regularly. We got a dumpster to put a lot of cholla in at our new residence. When I ordered the large container I told the representative that it would only be for a short time and that I would want to scale down to a smaller size. When I called to do that I was told that it could be done. I waited for pick up and a final bill, neither happened. Our association used Republic and each paid a different fee. $65-$200! I stopped service since pickup was sporadic an cost but they still debited my account some how. Yes I took everything off the site. Now Im fighting to get that back. They are liars and very hard to get ahold of. Criminal comes to mind!!

In the past 2 weeks our organic garbage has not been picked on the scheduled day which is the Thursday. After checking my camera, I have noticed that they picked up all of neighbors' trashes but not ours. When I called the first time . When I called the first time on Thursdays right after that, the lady assured me someone would be out on Friday (a day after) to pick up. By 5:30pm no one had picked up.
