This company is horrible and seriously con artists. Ive been a customer for years they double and wants us to pay 500$ a year. Due to gas prices going up. my *************************** didnt go up just ours so I find a different company and I get a bill in the mail for three months for 264$ which is more than I pay yearly. They said I didnt cancel and they charged 61$ for can pick up and they never even picked them up but according to their records in November they picked them up as Im staring at them out my window as we sp... read more

I have 24 hour video surveillance. I don't live at the end of a block, or a cul-de-sac. I have on camera the trash person turning around before my house. Am I the last house on my street, absolutely not. Did my neighbors get their trash dumped, nope. The customer service lady said (after she asked) trash needs to be out by 6am. Well again my cameras have my trash out by the road before 6 am and no trash person came to pick it up.... I requested a quote for residential service on Feb. 7th. The quote was the lowest in my area so I called back on the 20th to begin services. The quote which was emailed to me included a waived container fee. The rep I spoke to on the 20th kept having to go ask her supervisor for permission but they were unable to honor quote or container fee. I went ahead and paid for service anyway to begin that Friday. I have been a customer of Republic Services for more than 2 decades. I get residential service. Some months ago I reached out to their customer serivce on at least 2 occasions because I thought my bill of $166 a quarter was particularly high and asked if there was any way to lower it by changing can sizes or pickup frequency. Each time I was told flatly that there was not cheaper option. After that, my bill for the same service went from $166 to $243 a quarter. I'm very disappointed in republic services. We have been a customer for 20 years. They have really gone down hill, they have terrible customer service. They used to be helpful when there was a problem. In December and January we did not have service for 6 weeks. They said our road was icy but most of the time it was warm. We didn't have bad weather. They said they would come out when we would call and complain, but they never came. They told us they would give us credit for the missed days, they did not. We called and asked ... read more

Needed to transfer services to my name from landlord. Called on 02/24 and was told $90 but agent was not sure if she could close the account of my landlord and asked me to call back. Called on 02/27 and was quoted $104.97 and was told pricing changes. Understandable but a $15 jump is sort of unlikely. They took my personal bin have been in contact with them for over a month now and always an excuse and saying they cant get in touch with me, always saying, we will be in touch with you in the next 24 to 48 hours and nothing and like i said its been more than a month now for just a bin and still have no money for my bin. ************* sucks! They do not pick up on time when they say they will. They charge to drop off containers which is absurd. I've had service for almost 2 months & have only had 1 pick up. I've called numerous ************ have scheduled missed pick *** but than don't come. Needless to say I have canceled my service. When I did they told me there was a cost for them to pick up the containers. What a flipping joke.

I just received my Republic Services invoices for the quarter. My last invoice was $59.50. This invoice is $111.22. I was advised by the person on the phone that due to our service increasing and the $35.34 fuel recovery charge they are adding to our area that my invoice is now going to be $51.72 higher a quarter. That's a steep increase. And there have been multiple times where they couldn't make it out on our regularly scheduled pick up day and we had to wait a month for our recycling to be picked up.
