Our trash and recycling havent been picked up in over two weeks. We did not receive notification of a delay for weather or holidays. I assumed today they would come, but when the didnt, I called. Finally I got to talk to a human who said I dont see a note here about anything wrong with this pickup. She told me the soonest they can come is Monday. All of our neighbors have completely full/overflowing trash as well. Where are these people? I have nothing good to say about service or customer service. Terrible.

I had no problem with them until I tried to cancel my service. I needed a bigger dumpster and Republic was way more expensive. So we contracted with a new trash service and called to cancel Republic. I called on 11/23 and was told they would pick the dumpster up that day, or *** since Thurs was Thanksgiving. My acct mgr ******* called me that night, unsure of WHY he was calling, just that he had a message to call me. I was with ************** for years and never had any problems and then these clowns(Republic) bought them out and it has been nothing but poor excuses ever sense,no real service just reasons not to pick up my trash.I have never called a place so many times and never got any results of any kind.I told the lady today I was out of room to store any more trash so I asked her if I could just bring it to them and leave it in their parking lot so they would not have to come and pick it up, she said no. The word is out and I have talked to numerous people about the poor service of this company. They started by adding a "Fuel Recovery Fee" and my bill doubled around May of 2022 from $81.00 dollars a qtr to $142.92 a qtr. Then as of the end of October 2022, they would only come and get waste every other week and trash would sit with all my neighbors that had their service (about 12 homes on my block) I and several others contacted them several times and they would flat out lie and tell us that they would send a truck to pick ... read more

These people are mobsters!!! I started service with them a little over a year ago when the company that I've been with for over 20 years was bought out. The sales person come in while i was on them phone and very busy said they was taking over service and just sign here so they could keep the rate the same at $65 per month. I had know idea i had just signed a contract for 3 years. Now i want out of my service because my rate is $110 per month and they said pay us $699 to end contract. I am retired and have republic waste pick up my trash once a week. I am disabled, retired, and on a fixed income. I usually have 2 bags a week. I pay ****** quarterly...This comes to more than ****** dollars a year. This is not affordable and is a scam to people that have worked for the right of the people all their lives.We need someone to come into this area in ******* and stop all these price-gouging thieves.

We called and told them to pick up their dumpster because the location we were no longer going to be doing business there. The actual building is going to be demolished by the new owners. We were told someone would pick up the dumpster. 1 month later the dumpster is STILL there and they sent us an invoice. After 4 phone calls over the past few days received an email from them wanting us to sign a "release form" to cancel our service and to pick up the dumpster. I own a business and left prior recycling place and went with republic! What a mistake! In the last 3 months I have been missed 4 times weeks with out pickup, can flowing over! Then they want to upcharge for over flow can!!! There is always an excuse. truck broke down, something was blocking your can, you changed lock on your gate! Which are ALL LIES! I think your company is ripping people off. I cancelled my service on 10/31/22. My wife had already sent in $190 payment before I decided to cancel our service. I was told there would be a $36.30charge for each (we had 2) container to be picked up. We received an invoice in November for a $72,09 credit. I called the local (*******, **.) office to see why we only got a check for $72.09 refund and was told they added another $39. fuel charge to pick up the 2 containers. This is totally unacceptable and a rip-off.
