Horrible company. If you have any other alternatives for trash pick up go with someone else. I recently cancelled my service and they charged me an extra 50 dollars to pick up the empty trash can. No mention was made of this extra fee when I called to cancel. Total rip off! If I had known about this fee. I would have put the van in my pick up truck and dropped it off. I am recommending a new local company to everyone in my neighborhood.

They have the worst customer service and company should be investigated for deceptive billing practices. I cancelled my service because they kept increasing the fees. I called to cancel and sent me an email that a refund would be given on 11/4. I called now 11/29 and they told me that I was suppose to call so that a refund check even though NOTHING was said in the email. So for the last 2 years the Republic Services garbage truck driver has been moving my garbage can from the only designated spot in between my house and neighbors house into my driveway once dumped. I have called and spoke to customer 3 or 4 times now. Everytime a nice lady escalates the issue with the driver leadership. Awful unreliable business! Constantly missing pick **** After being told it would be picked up next day my trash is still sitting in my driveway. This company is a joke to say the least.

They often miss pick up, and they used to come at 2pm and then one day they randomly came at 6am without any notice and our garbage wasnt out yet because we typically have time in the morning to do so, and they wouldnt come back or accommodate at all even though another republic truck drives RIGHT passed my house again at 2pm! So frustrating! And they up their prices every year and I always have to call to get it lowered.

They raised my bill from $60 to $91.39 because of (environmental recovery fee) so I canceled my service immediately in July 2022. Did not reimburse me for the reminder of the billing cycle. On November 21st I received another bill for $91.39. I called told them I would not pay it because I canceled my services back in July, They told me that this fee which is a full 3 month billing cycle Was because they had to pick up my container back in July. Extortion is the only word that comes to mind.

Awful experience during the three years weve been stuck with Republic Services. Im not exaggerating in saying we have missed pickups at least once a month, with no explanation. Recycling seems to be the worst, as they miss that almost every other time, meaning we have to go a month between pickups, with recycling piling up in **********. There was a stretch in early 2022 where we had no pickups of any kind for about 6 weeks. Unreliable services!!! I will start by saying we used Republic Services in the past with no issues. Now that we've moved to a new city, it's been issue after issue, maybe it's the local management. In the four months we used Republic Services we've had missed services constantly. Almost every single week we would be texted saying that pickup would be delayed, most of the time several days in a row. Republic was our residential pickup service for years. About 7 years ago they started adding the fuel recovery fee to their invoices. Fuel is part of their overhead - why would we be charged for that? Then when we called to complain, initially Republic would remove or reduce the fuel fee.
