This company is horrible! Last October, I received an invoice for the year period ending 10/31/23 and paid the amount in full. Last month (February 2022) I received an invoice for the current quarter. I called and explained to them that I have both the old invoice and a copy of the cancelled check showing that I was paid in full through 10/31, and that this invoice and cancelled check constituted a contract with them agreeing to provide a service through 10/31 for a price that I paid in full. Service wise, no real complaints. But the rapid increase in rates with NO advance notice is ridiculous. I know times have changed since the pandemic. However, when my quarterly bill went from $60.60 in January 2022 to $109.94 in 2023 and now $124.76 for bill due in April 2023, this is just robbery.When I called them when I got invoice in January 2023, they were no longer the friendly staff they had always been. I have had poor service with this company picking up my home trash for the last couple of years. Mulitple missed pick **** Yesterday was a partial pick up. They left 1 bag in the bottom of the can. After calling again to report this I asked about the history of problems for the last 6 months. This was the 5th problem in6 month period. This company is bought out the trash company I was doing business with. The first few weeks they forgot to pick up the trash. The next few weeks they sometimes picked up the trash. Once they finally started picking up the trash most of the time, things got worse. In the last year they have increased my rates by 100%. Each of the last three bills has been higher than the previous one. They also don't like to answer their phone. This company accepted payment on my wife's card fraudulently and cannot even tell us what account it was charged under and we have NEVER done business with them and don't even have an account with them. They cannot refund her card and we have been told to take it up with our bank. I have had to deactivate my wife's card and have spent hours on the phone trying to get our money back that Republic Services clearly took and have zero record of us in their system. We were customers for several years and had a fairly good experience, several missed pick *** and still charged full amount every month. Once we decided to close our business and sell the property everything changed. As per their contract, is sent a letter requesting termination of their services and advised them that we would sell the property and they should get the dumpster removed. 3 and half months and 7 or phone calls later, they are still sending me invoices for services I cancelled months ago. Had the pleasure of meeting ****** in ********** today. He was picking up a dumpster on a construction site. ****** is the person who is the face of your company that works hard everyday and Twice on Sunday and never gets credit they deserve. I think this company purchased the customer base from WDS and expecting those customers to pay up to the resent cost increases for their services with an added fuel charge and still comitted to the contract signed with WDS. I did not sign a contract with Republic! *******************

This company canceled our services based on incorrect information provided by a neighbor. After many years they canceled service to ** after a neighbor accused them of damaging her water line that runs in a shared ingress/egress easement. Our service was discontinued without notice after failed pickups leaving us with excess garbage. This company is not reputable or ethical.
