The Good - Republic has great drivers!The Bad - Price is outrageous and there is a fuel service charge that no one else has. When I called to discuss my bill, they stated that there is an automatic yearly increase and that everyone charges the fuel service charge, which is not the case. I cut my bill in over half by switching companies. Now they want me to pay $117.29 to pick up my cans, which was never mentioned when I cancelled. I would have gladly dropped them off somewhere for $117. Highly unethical company!

Even tho I am in a residential area they consider me commercial. When I tried to cancel my service they asked for a bill of sale???? This house is up for sale but I dont have to sell my house to cancel trash service. I was told I had to submit an email for a 30 days notice and that it no longer had to be submitted by certified mail. That I would continue to be charged until they completed their in-house paperwork and that could take up to 60 days. This company is beyond ridiculous

I was using KWS, they sold to Republic. A rep from Republic come to every house on my road in Dec 2020 and asked everyine to sign their clipboard. I questioned what I was signing, I was informed it was for verification of address and service. They have now raised my rates to an amount I won't pay. I've switched to another service provider. When I called Republic they said I signed a 3 yr contract and have to pay 588 to get out of it. I asked ** to show me the contract that I allegedly signed. They have the rudest driver he will not take our trash argues with my husband and they are just a horrible business

Used this company for many years until our service, along with one neighbor, was cancelled by Republic due to a complaint of private access road waterline damage by a third Republic neighbor. Republic still services the complaining neighbor using this same access road and drives across her waterline while they refused to do the same for **. I wish I could give negative stars. This is the absolute worse company in the area. They have repeatedly missed my 71 year old mothers trash pick up leaving her in filth. They call and harass her for payments even though shes never missed one. The incompetence displayed by ************************* and her team is disgusting and she should be arrested for taking peoples money and not providing the service they paid for. One of the most dishonest companies I have had to deal with. You sign up and they mention nothing about there fuel service charge. You then send a letter stating the monthly cost with a vary small fuel charge indicating this is what is the monthly cost. You then switch on the first months service to a % fuel charge of the total bill, including the cost of the bin. That is the most bait and switch billing I have ever seen. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They forgot our trash probably once or twice per month. We moved out a month ago and they were supposed to pick up the bins on May 4. They never did. It is now May 11 and they still have not picked up the bins after multiple phone calls and escalations. Im at the point where Ill get the bins myself and dump them at their office.
