Last Friday, my husband called 911 and I was taken to the ER. I have only been in the hospital when having babies. I will say my time in the ICU and then on the 3rd floor was wonderful. The nurses and staff were always checking on my asking if I needed anything. I hope to never need to be back in the hospital any time soon, but if I or anyone in my family needs to go we will be going to Medical City Frisco. thank you.

Unfortunately this was the closest medical facility to my home and I made the mistake of going a week ago. I showed up Friday evening around 630-7pm and was surprised to find the entry to the ER to be combined with the children’s hospital ER entry as well and this area was about the size of a coat room. I approached a security guard sitting behind glass and asked how to get to the ER and she replied, “You’re here.” When she saw the look on my face she said, “I know. Been really really sick since Saturday night! Decided to go to Medical City Frisco ER because I cannot breathe and drenched in sweat! When I say do not ever ever ever go to this ER even if you are dying I’m sooo serious! Worst care I’ve ever received. Amazing hospital and amazing medical team. From the moment I walked in and 3 days later when I was discharged I have nothing negative to say. The nurses made my stay so comfortable, cleaning crew kept my room clean, nutrition staff brought some good meals, the PT staff worked patiently with me and got me out of my comfort zone. RecommendedI’ve been to three hospitals in McKinney, Allen Presbyterian and even to UT Southwestern in Dallas. Recently, I’ve been to Medical City Frisco for two procedures and this hospital is by far the best!! Medical City Frisco had top notch staff caring for me after my surgery. They treated me with care and compassion. If I have to go to another hospital for surgery, my first choice will be Medical City Frisco. Everyone at the hospital is friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you have a good experience.
The worst ER in Frisco, Plano area. They can't do anything at hospital and always sending patients else where. I was a cardiac patient and I received terrible care there. Wasn't a cardiologist on call, the ER Dr. couldn't handle what was going on so he ships me to the "sister" hospital that BTW, didn't have a cardiologist there either. I got up, told nurses I was leaving since the prior Dr. hadn't written any orders, pulled IV out and had my wife take me to Baylor where I received excellent health care under a emergency situ... read more

I came in Friday with my daughter, she had injured her leg, they took 2 X-ray pictures and came back and said it was not broken and they couldn’t see any fractures, so to follow up with her pediatrician, so today she is still complaining and refusing to walk or stand so I took her to children’s Plano, and her leg does in fact have a fracture...I will never come back and will never recommend this hospital!

Today I had a day surgery. I had not been to this campus before...it definitely did not disappoint. Everyone from the sweet lady that greeted me when I walked through the door, the registration specialist, tech, nurses, and doctors were all wonderful. You were all efficient, fast, knowledgeable, supportive, and entertained my sense of humor. My go to choice of hospitals has always been Baylor Plano. That changed today. Thank you for the hospitality and care. I appreciate you all!
