The MAT has been an Uptown hotspot for over a decade. In 2009, it was bought by Kidd Kraddick Morning Show co-host Big Al Mack. Come hang with Al at The MAT! Great Food. This place is a cesspool. Absolutely the most disgusting bar in uptown. Loads of potential but the food, service and sanitation of this place fail to get the job done. The most repulsive bathroom in Texas. The most grotesque staff ever... they don't bathe and they simply don't care for your business. This place is not getting another penny from me.
I rn tere with low expectations "it's big Al". I left thinking it I probably one of the best bars I have ever went to. Pulled pork sandwich delivered quickly and was one of the best I have ever had"surprising for bar when I have been to several bbq/smokehouse restaurants. Bar was clean, no bad smells, great TV screens, great sports bar. Big Al there and very friendly. Free beer from A.Busch rep. Highly recommend and would return... Shocked it was bot packed... If would be in my hometown.
Kareoke was too loud couldn't even talk amongst, the people we were eating with at our table and Big Al showed up in a bad mood my wife had been wanting to see his place for a while and he showed up not wanting to have anything to due with anyone, being mad with waitstaff but my wife was very disappointed after asking for a picture and getting a really ugly response first and last experience there fk the bs I thought al would be cool so much for that

There Seagovile location Is Very Horrible. From workers to food and Managers! They should be all fired

I liked the food and atmosphere but the dj kept playing 1 to 2 songs in between singers on karaoke night i woulda liked it if he kept the karaoke goin

I can't understand if I ordered BBQ wings and you bring them out in 10 mins, but then they are not cooked. I ask the waitress to take them back and finish cooking them, she replied the kitchen is closed, but then you come out and deliver more food? REALLY? WHILE the OWNER is out on the dance floor and stealing the Karaoke show with his own concert with 30 people waiting to sing.
