We were passing through Dallas on our way from Houston to KS. We decided to stop and arrived a few minutes before they opened, not aware of the hours. Big Al himself was out in the parking lot and invited us in early. He helped us park, he posed for pictures and personally thanked us for stopping by. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Awesome, unique place! So glad we stopped!
This was on our (wife and I) bucket list. It was packed and we still had great service. Staff was friendly and pricing was very reasonable. Karaoke was entertaining but some man with white rimmed glasses must have been turning in his songs on $100 bills. He sang like four times. (Joke, it was the man himself) I would recommend for a fun party night out.
I have friends that come into town all the time and I can never tell them a place to go. I know now where to take them. They will love Big Al's. When I do my next Texas Round up, it will be at Big Al's.
Don't go to McKinney Ave Tavern, the bartender will steal your card information. Luckily I caught early on what Chase did not, which surprises me from the charges made. Ultimately I ended up with free Jameson and getting a new card. So props to the guy for my free drink, but no more Redbox rentals and Walmart trips for you on me.
This place and it owner is so Awesome I recommend this place to party thanks Big Al for all you did Jennifer dad

We came to Dallas to celebrate my husband's 35th birthday and for my husband to participate as a bone marrow donor. This is the first time I have been able to go out to celebrate since I underwent brain surgery so we were excited to go out. We sat for awhile, were the only table in our section; no service so we had to go to the bar. Big Frat party comes in sits down 10-15 minutes after us. Gets immediate service.
