The MAT has been an Uptown hotspot for over a decade. In 2009, it was bought by Kidd Kraddick Morning Show co-host Big Al Mack. Come hang with Al at The MAT! Great Food. This was a great place I loved the atmosphere it was a lot of fun
I am from Chattanooga, Tn and my office was in Dallas for a Dental Seminar this weekend and all the girls in my office went to Big Al's on our last night. We had a really fun time and my Teriyaki wings were great and so was our server Anna!!! The main reason we went there was to meet Big Al which we finally did later that night and got our picture taken with him.
The customer service was very great and the food was delicious.
I had an awesome time at Big Al's MAT during my stay in Dallas! The live karaoke band is amazing and I enjoyed singing all night long.
It was our first visit on Sunday and we had a blast! Big Al is so sweet taking pics and sitting at the bar with his dog. Karaoke was a blast and music was on point we will definitely be back!
Friendly, attentive staff. Friendly owner. Great food. Great location. Drinks awesome. I cannot WAIT to go back on valentine's day ��������
Went for the Alabama vs Washington game, place was packed, service and ambiance was great even for a WMU alum got a few "Row the Boats" felt welcome. Big Al class act.
My fiancé proposed there last night!! Big Al turned off all the tvs and music, handed him a mic and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you Big Al and J- si :) you guys made it even more special, an experience that will always have a place in my heart. ❤️ Oh and the drinks and service was fantastic!
Had an awesome time watching the Alabama game! Roll 🐘🐘Tide in the house.
