Do not buy from Mathis Brothers. How is this for customer service? We ordered a bedroom suite from Mathis Brothers paying for the “membership” so we could get a lower price and free delivery. When we called to set up delivery, we were told 1st that they don’t deliver on Wednesday. 2nd that they could not give us a time of morning or afternoon on Thursday so we chose the only day we could be home all day which was Friday. Delivery for Mathis Brothers Oklahoma City is JOKE!! Nothing but lies and empty promises. We ordered a table 6 chairs and 3 bar stools on 28 December 2022. They had to have it transferred from Tulsa. Our salesperson did his job and A delivery was scheduled for 9 January 2023 between 230-430 pm. They called at 138 pm and said they were running late. My husband and I purchased a dining room set from Mathis Brothers in Ontario, California around July. Bought my reclining sectionals and paid for the warranty ins all over $3k. After a year mechanical on 2 of my sectionals gave out. Called and scheduled a tech to come out and fix the issue. My experience with this company was absolutely horrible. I spent thousands of dollars on a brand new dining table and chairs and was told it would arrive at the end of July. After it had been over 2 weeks past the arrival date, I finally called to ask why I hadn't heard anything. They told me that it got delayed the week after I ordered it which was in April and wouldn't be in until September. Mathis now adds a $99 membership for free delivery and assembly to the end of each bill (ensuring they will not need to refund if anything goes wrong, Im assuming). On 9/24, the delivery people dropped off our bedroom set, leaving the bed in pieces due to the bolts not being in the truck. My worst experience, the rude sale staff who basically told me to cancel the order if you don’t like us. I had paid for the sofa/loveseat a month back and still waiting for the item. First, they sent us a damaged packaging item and the sofa was dirty.
