I have never experienced a more traumatic event then when shopping at mathis brothers. My delivery was suppose to come 11/18, its march 23 and still nothing. Managers promised ***** call me back and didnt. I had to cry ( literally sob) to customer service in order for them to give me a manager. The manager was the rudest person in the universe. I was extremely shocked mathis brother would hire a manager like him. He said i cant do anything. Then 2 minutes offered 10 percent? How pathetic? Whats 10 percent going to do for som... read more

Unfortunately, most manufacturers have run into production delays and/or shipping delays. We definitely are not scamming our customers. We wouldn't be in business if that was the case. They MISLEADINGLY sold me furniture that was not returnable. The salesperson even sold me insurance in case anything happened to it, "the company would replace it for free, or you get store credit" and implied quality assurance. I tried to return it after 3 days ** the couch was uncomfortable.The customer service person said no problem and arranged the return. They never came to pick up the furniture. Would not recommend doing business with these people. They sold us a floor model. We paid a deposits and went home to check if everything would fit, and schedule for someone to pick it up (They charge outrageous prices for delivery). We called them the next day as we agreed, paid the full amount and scheduled a pickup for the following day. They called us a few hours later to cancel the order per our request. DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM MATHIS BROTHERS! The sales associate NEVER ONCE MENTIONED the requirements for the 365 Night Guarantee. We spent thousands of dollars BUT did not buy ONE pillow, and now cannot exchange our mattress. Had we any idea of the requirements, we would have gladly purchased a pillow. We have been deceived and mislead by Mathis Brothers and obviously are not appreciated in the slightest as customers by Mathis management. I purchased a couch in July. I asked five times just to verify it was in stock. I was told yes each time. On delivery day (I also ordered two chairs) I was told the couch was on back order and would arrive in two weeks. It is now Dec 15 and I still dont have a couch. I call constantly and receive a new date each time, next week, in two weeks.blah blah blah. They never call to update me. I have talked to every department. They are all rude and uninformed. They don't deserve even 1 star. Been waiting on chairs for a custom dining set since July. Ordered in March. Everytime I call I get a different story about what's ordered, and when to expect. Maybe you can do OK with buying off the floor but never waste your money on *************** from them. Their customer service is even worse. Beyond rude and even the managers don't care and when they say they will call you back, we'll they don't. Out of 20 calls I made I got 1 call back. In September I purchased approximately $8000 worth of brand new furniture from Mathis Brothers. One of the items I purchased was a bed/mattress. After two weeks of sleeping on this mattress I decided that it was the reason for my back pain. Once I contacted the store they informed me that because I did not buy a specific pillow nor did I buy their specific mattress protector I could not return the mattress.
