Shopping experience was pleasant. Selection and prices were good. But **** have a problem and need **************** help. My complaint has to do with their reward program, which I was tricked into signing up for without it being mentioned or explained. The sales person just flashed the info on the screen quickly before I could read it, and when I asked her about it she said, Oh, it was just about delivery. I stupidly signed it, and later found out I agreed to an awards program that I would be automatically charged for annually. She never even mentioned the words awards program to me. There is great savings in the program. Right off the bat, you save on delivery, enough to make up for the cost of the Rewards and then some! I custom ordered a sectional and ottoman. They delivered the wrong sectional and the wrong ottoman. They redelivered an incorrect ottoman again today.

I purchased 2 nightstands and a console table from Mathis and scheduled delivery the following week. When the furniture arrived one of the nightstands was shattered and the console table wasnt put together properly. They scheduled to come pickup the broken nightstands and were going to send a repairman to fix the console table. The absolute worst customer service ever. We bought furniture in January told we would get it in February. Guess what still not here. Month over month I have to call in and get a status update because they refuse to provide simple customer service. Beware of mathis Brothers furniture. We Paid for 'deluxe delivery. ' delivery guys never took furniture off the truck, told us it won't fit without ever bringing it into the house. I went back to the store and salesman told us no refunds, only store credit. we went to the store and chose several pieces. However, as you mentioned, when you spoke to one of the sales managers, he agreed that you could get a refund instead of store credit. There would not be a restocking fee.
