If your considering buying furniture. Please dont , I repeat do not go to Mathis Brothers. We have been lied to, charged false charges and been given the total runaround. Phone calls never returned. I dont usually blast businesses unless it is really really bad. Our experience was just beyond awful.

Bought sofa/ chair in March. Still waiting on chair. Different story every time I call. Manager was short/ rude. I only call every two months. Surprised at how unprofessional they are. When I bought it they promised I would have it in two months. Broken promises!

I purchased a bed frame from ********* but product was delivered and put together by Mathis. Since having it, screws keep falling out. I finally moved the mattress so I could look at the frame only to see that it was out together poorly. Nails are missing and put in sideways. There are gaps in between pieces of the frame and a crack where screws were put in. I paid $50 for delivery and $80 to have it put together. Only to have it fixed by myself.

I paid $11,000 for furniture from this company. Even though I sat in the store, a lot of my items were left off or incorrect. I was given false information and delivery times just for the salesman to receive my purchase. I had to have my entire order revised and wait months for items to be delivered. Once delivered, again the wrong items were delivered. Deliveries were not in the time frame specified, managers did not communicate back with me when I was told they would, I missed out on work and pay on multiple occasions. Hor... read more

I've been waiting on a rocker recliner for a year. Their management there in ***** Oklahoma is absolutely the worst I've ever seen in a popular furniture company . They have horrible communication skills and continue to lie and ignor requests for my order. I called the store on September the 20th and 21st to ask about my chair which was due this month. Mathis Brothers' ******* store has provided the WORST customer service to follow-up/warranty care with our electric recliner sofa. We bought the sofa in May of 2020, which included a two-year warranty. In July 2021, the electronic recliner opened on its own, froze, and would not recline back to the closed position. Furthermore, the lumbar pillow cushion and head rest were also inoperable. One third of the couch became useless and could not be utilized. As newlyweds we were thrilled to purchase our first couch. We have been waiting 9 months with ZERO communication from Mathis brothers. No one will return my calls and **** the Irvine store manager is ignoring me. I want a refund and to cancel the order. This is crazy. Do not order from Mathis brothers.

I purchased a recliner on August 25 to be delivered September 4. I called this morning to check on delivery and was told it wasnt scheduled. Was on hold 2 times for 15 minutes and finally spoke with someone. I was told we owed $137 which was the tax that the cashier was to have taken since we are tax exempt. So now they cant deliver until Monday (if that actually happens) and my husband who has 2 bad hips has no recliner since we gave away today under the assumption he would have his new one. Not good for him.

The worst company EVER . I have waited 7 months for a part to come in . Ive been blown off from week to week month to month for 7 months Ive been told there waiting on the part. I bought a ***** recliner sofa and one if the chair of the foot drags Im sitting on pillows and the couch was barely a year old . I have tried to contact everybody I could get in touch with .
