Drove 6 hours to get couch and chair that had been ordered since May. Got it home unloaded and was wrong nailheada and legs. Spike with Mathis Brothers and they for sure said they had the correct one in stock so come back.. Texted sales for them to double check the order and they confirmed it.. drove 6 more hours there and home with the wrong couch. Im sitting at over two months waiting on my order. Purchased early to mid June with an in stocks date if 6/27. At the time we placed a 10% deposit to order the furniture to pay the balance after closing to get delivery scheduled. Closing happened paid off balance and was told 7/4 for delivery of one piece, 7/2 sales person texted me but was trying to text someone else and when I asked if we were still good for 7/4 he said no an error on his side made it where he never scheduled delivery. I've had to change out of so many different items because they lie and say that items will be available soon or on a certain date and it never happens the date always changes to another month. I've waited on my bed for about 3 months now. I've been told it's coming for sure and now we we're just told another delay and Mathis Brothers don't do anything to compensate your time. I just spent over $5,000 in this store and I can't even get what's being advertise and paid for, what kind of business does that?? That has to be illeg... read more

We apologize for the delays in your furniture. It looks like you purchased this directly through the **************** website. We don't have any control over orders made on their website, we are delivering the furniture once it comes in. Many times those items are not located in any of our warehouses, it has to come from their manufacturing facility. If the order had been placed on our website or through our stores, we would have more control. Again, we apologize.
If you cant walk out of this business with your items in your hand dont bother. From being told items are in stock and can get them when we move into our house, to lead time off by months, to wrong items ordered, to items not delivered, to false intentions of sales associate and/or sales managers. Being told I would receive a store credit for the complete disaster of an experience. Which I might add I havent received and they havent responded to my follow up emails. So disappointed in the experience.
Soooo I decided to finally bite the bullet and get a new sofa, I had previously purchased from Mathis Brother's before so I figured it would be the same experience... Placed our order for a sectional, ottoman and a recliner on January 8, 2021. It is now July 20, 2021 we still have absolutely no furniture what so ever. There has been zero communication in regards to the date changes nor status of the order. We have hounded Mathis Brothers every month and now almost daily with absolutely zero response from anybody. I have had the most horrible experience with Mathis Brothers. I ordered 2 couches in April, 2021. I purchased one special order which did not arrive until way after they said it would arrive. I got false information multiple times about the delivery date and had to absolutely hound them to get any sort of information. Special order couches take time, I get that.. it was mostly just the dishonesty and little to no follow up. My biggest concern is the couch we purchased that was horribly defective. DON'T BUY A ******** FROM HERE We bought a mattress right after ******** did their annual check on our house for any bugs. After sleeping on it for one night, I was bitten by fully grown bed bugs. I am SO disgusted by their horrible products and ridiculous policy on returns. I would give 0 stars if I could."

We are sorry to hear that you have bed bugs, but the chances it came from one of our stores is slim to none. Our mattress come from the factory sealed in plastic.
