From the time I first walked into his office to the time I last walked out after my post-surgical follow up appointment, the quality of care provided to me at Dr. Elkus's office was excellent. Professional and kind. Always took the time required to answer questions. He has performed two hip replacements for me and recuperation from both surgeries was a breeze. If my knees go, I’ll be right back in his office. I highly recommend him for your needs. You will be pleased.
A former client recommended Dr. Elkus to me years ago and I'm so thankful! I've had many orthopedic procedures performed by a number of different orthopedic surgeons over the years and Dr. Elkus is cut above all others. I've talked to several nurses during my hospital stays and all of them gave Mark glowing reviews. He's caring and, compassionate. He listens to his patients and also gives down to earth explanations of his diagnosis, so don't be in a hurry to get in and out of his office.

I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Elkus and I would not go anywhere else for my orthopedic care. I was amazed the first surgery with my right knee after having several injections for my chronic knee pain, Dr. Elkus never pushed me to get the replacement, just gave me a beautiful smile and said you just let me know when you are ready and when I was ready all I had to do was show up with my equipment he furnished at his office and he did the rest. The staff members were efficient, courteous, and friendly. Dr. Elkus was very thorough in his examination and took the time to answer all my questions. I have recommended Dr. Elkus to many of my friends and all have been very pleased with their experience. Dr. Elkus and his team truly care about their patients.
Dr. Elkus had performed surgery on both of my shoulders and I honestly couldn't ask for a better surgeon. He truly listens to what you have going on and wants to do everything possible to help. I highly recommend seeing him if you have any issues.
Dr Elkus replaced my left knee in 2011. He also treated my rt knee when it started wearing out. I received injections for several years. Then when I was ready he replaced my rt knee in 2024. I wish I hadn't waited so long. Dr Elkus is very good at what he does and is very thorough in what he does. From the first meeting, treatment and follow-up after surgery. He has a great staff too.
