Dr Elkus and his entire staff were very people oriented and connected well with me and family. Very professional planning and great bedside manner. Very positive outlook throughout presurgery, surgery, post surgery and rehab. Thank you Dr Elkus and entire staff.
Dr Elkus has performed 2 knee replacement surgeries. Both were successful due to his expertise and as well as his staff.
Dr. Elkus has always been very attentive to whatever I came to him and has given good medicine and advice.
I had waited a long time to have my knee replaced, but finally pushed the button. Dr. Elkus and his entire staff were so kind and helpful, and The OrthoHealth center at St. Vincent's in Birmingham was wonderful, as well, and we were in and out in about 6 hours. I have to mention that Dr. Elkus has had the same staff in his office for decades, which reflects well on his personality. They run a tight but friendly ship. Madison, the P.A., is a great addition to the team. I am up and around and very satisfied with my experience.
I have used Dr Elkus for many years and feel he is a gifted orthopedic doctor. He and his staff have always given me the best care. Each staff member is friendly and it's obvious they enjoy serving people. Dr Marks is proactive in caring for his patients. He is easy to talk to and wants your problems to be corrected so you can return to your normal lifestyle. I highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.

I was a little nervous about the surgery. Dr Elkus and his staff were very informative and patient with me. I was able to reach them when needed. Even though the healing process is a little lengthy, my knee is feeling a lot better. I would highly recommend Dr Elkus.
