I had heard good things about Dr. Elkus. My daughter, a physical therapy assistant, had recommended him because she had seen great results in her patients who used him..I found him and his staff to be friendly, helpful and kind. My surgery was successful and I am still in the recovery time frame. I would certainly recommend Dr. Elkus to my friends.

I was referred to Dr. Elkus by a friend to see about some hip and back pain I was experiencing. I was expecting to get a shot and sent to physical therapy. After Dr. Elkus reviewed my x-rays and we talked, he told me I needed a total hip replacement, sooner than later! I’ve been a patient for more than 10 years. We tried various treatments until my knees failed to respond. Dr. Elkus preformed total knee replacements on both knees over 15 months ( my choice to wait between surgeries ). Within 90 days after the second surgery, I was back on my bike riding better than I had in years.
