Absolutely horrible customer service after they get your money. "Professional" installers can't measure accurately and quoted three different prices to install a wall oven. We were told the new oven would not fit in the present opening and would require a bit of woodwork and cutting to accommodate the new unit. Wrong again. My Wife and I removed the old oven and the opening has more than enough room to accommodate the new oven. Our local store was expecting us to prepay the $250 installation fee before the work was completed... read more

Purchased a dryer that was to be delivered, installed, and also paid extra for removal of the old dryer. After 2 weeks of waiting, I decided to call Lowe's. I have never had such a bad experience with customer service on so many occasions anywhere else. The employees were extremely rude and had no consideration for my situation. My wife and I decided to choose Lowes for our large window installation job because we felt that they are a reputable company with a vested interest in keeping our business beyond this job. My wife and I are having a horrible customer experience with management and the Install Sales department at Lowes in Simi Valley. If I knew the lack of follow-up status requests and delays to get $10K+ of upgrades in our home, there would be no hesitation to have another company perform the work. 7/2/18 we bought a new refriegerator and paid extra for an ice maker from Lowes in Sulphur Springs, TX. Delivered 7/10/18, ice maker didn't work so they came and checked it out and told me to call the next day if still not working. I called next day; ice maker not working. Ben the manager said ok we bring out a new ice maker and I waited again. Very unprofessional and misleading. I ordered blinds for 4 windows and have been waiting over 2 months and the work is still not completed when I paid in full. I have called numerous times only to be hung up on, put on hold for over 40 minutes, or told someone would call me back (which has not happened). I feel like I've been given the "run-around" since I have already paid. Staff is rude, not trained well and extremely complacent. To make a long story short, DO NOT go to Lowes for flooring installation. My husband and I have had the worst experience ever! Bought/ordered flooring on June 20, 2018 and just got the job done on Friday August 17, 2018. Multiple phone calls, 2 wasted vacation days, 1 personal visit to Lowes, and family sleeping either on the couch or on a mattress on the floor because we were told to have "all furniture out of rooms" so carpet could be installed and then installers didn't show! Try to make this short. My nightmare began when I paid $17,000+ to have a kitchen Reno. The sales process was attentive and helpful but after I paid May,19 I was ignored. I was told that I would be contacted w/in 3 days to proceed with arrangements. If you're shopping for windows, call a local window contractor. It won't cost more if you chose the same manufacturer and window type and it will save you heartburn, annoyance, irritation and lots of TIME!!! Here's why: Against my husband's advice I chose Lowe's to replace the windows in our house (12) because co-workers said good things about them and I believed (wrongly) that a window contractor would cost excessively more.
