I purchased a bench grinder from my local Lowe's. I went out of the country and when I came back to set it up in my shop I took it out of the box and it didn't work properly. I put it back in the box (which had the sticker with store number, etc still on it) and took it back to the Lowe's store I purchased it from to get an exchange. I was told they couldn't exchange without a receipt. They were unable to locate the transaction via my card and so I have no receipt any longer. When there is a problem, they are reluctant to fix it. I signed contracts that I thought protected me from having to deal with aggravating situations.

I had solid bamboo floors installed, harder than wood. My husband and I noticed dents going across boards. We asked for someone to look at the damage. It took weeks for anyone to come. We are certain it happened during installation. We have not gotten any satisfaction. I fault Lowe's and *********** for wanting to dismiss our claims. All we ask is that someone from *********** and Lowe's takes a look at it. Signing all these contracts were useless in my opinion.
I ordered a front entry door, storm window and installment at Lowe's on May 31st. It took 4 months to install those doors! How they stay in business is beyond me. When I first ordered the door the store manager took my order! He never submitted it. This is the store manager. I was not informed of this until July after I had made repeated attempts to find out where the door was. The installer came to my house thinking the door had been ordered. I tried to leave 0 stars but this was not an option. I had 20+ windows installed in my home 2 years. It's now taken 2+ years and they still haven't finished the job. They left debris on my property, mis-installed screens, promised they'd come correct the problem and then didn't show and also ruined screens at their own store. If I can give 0 stars, I definitely will. I ordered one refrigerator in their store back in 9/8/18 and scheduled delivery on 10/7/18. On 10/7/18, I have been told the refrigerator is out of stock and I have to wait for at least another 1 month and their stuff told me someone in the ********** store will give me a call to update within 2 days. Definitely don't ever purchase a wall oven from this store. They have an extremely broken and dysfunctional process for oven purchases. I have spent at least 15 hours on the phone with the store and their delivery company on hold or repeating trying to get through. I also had to set aside 4 separate days to deal with this purchase and in the end I was not able to get an oven installed. I purchased carpet to be installed in 3 bedrooms. Installation went well and the carpet looks great! However,....the contracted company *************** did not removed the old carpet. They said that there is a fee to remove old, dirty carpet and they left it IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE.
