I shop at Lowe's all the time, but today I discovered a bait and switch practice at their Calgary location. After discussions with the manager and associates about it they refused to rectify the situation and as I sit nearby writing my review, a lady and her daughter just fell for the exact same situation. I'm sad to say that I'll likely be moving my contractor business elsewhere, probably ********** as that's the only other option I have in my city now.

I hired Lowe's in Sioux City, IA for a kitchen renovation. Three months later I am still missing one cabinet and no one from Lowe's has tried to update me on it's location or status. I have to call them to get any information and only half of my calls are returned. They were quick to take my check but work on my kitchen has been slow, to say the least, and communication is very poor. I ordered a dryer on a Saturday, it was suppose to be delivered on Wednesday between 8am and 8pm so I wait all day. No delivery. Called the fulfilling store which is located in Beckley, WV. They have no order for us, tell us to call the Fayetteville, WV store they say they see an order and it's suppose to be delivered by the Beckley store, call back the Beckley store they say it's on the truck. I had an incident where the staff were RUDE and disrespectful to the point where I left my cart in the middle of the store and walked out. I called customer service to speak to a store manager and NOT one time did the vacationing STORE MANAGER call me nor did anyone from Corporate call me to see what the issue was. I should have known that unless you make a stink about being disrespected and POOR customers service all you will receive is a a low level employee who is acting as a manger to contact you and LIE about the staff ... read more

1.0 star rating 8/10/2018 On 7/17/2018 I ordered new garage doors online with Lowes because they had a sale. I also requested installation of the garage doors at the same time. I received a email conformation that the garage doors were ordered and that they would arrive by 8/17/2018 also a email from the Lowes installation team would be reaching out to me for my install needs. Review of Lowe's Home center on XXXXX E. Northwest Hwy in Dallas Tx. Personnel don't seem to know what is expected of them. Trying to avoid any settlement on appliances that are inferior. Taking advantage of Diabled Veteran by refusing to refund agreed upon settlement or replacing appliance still under warranty.

I ordered a storm door from Loews and they charged me for it and gave me a delivery date. date comes and goes and my door is nowhere to be seen. I called the store and was told the order was cancelled and i wasnt charged. I clearly was charged and credit card shows it. so they obviously lied. then i call back the next day to the 800 number hoping to get more information and they didnt know anything. they told me the store would call me back. so needless to say they want to play the pass the customer around in circles game. s... read more

So while I'm not one to write reviews normally, I'm really just too mad not to. I recently purchased a new washer 2 months ago. As of 5 days it ago it no longer works as the water just drips inside the machine causing a LF to appear and the machine shuts itself off. I've never had anything break after only 2 months but I always have purchased my major appliances at Best Buy up until my recent washer dryer purchase. ***This only pertains to the carpeting department and their measuring/installation service*** I had Lowes come out for a carpet measure. They quoted me, through the contract company, for 64+ yards of material for a master bedroom, walk in closet, and guest bedroom and closet. The guest room and close is a rectangular space measuring 11'3" x 12'6". The company said I needed a 12' x 16' carpet for that space. 3 other measures quoted at 12' x 13' for the same space.
