Lowe's does advertise 1-3 days(ship out package) free standard shipping for members. It works if they fill the order within promised 1-3 days if not good luck contacting them. A phone call on average takes 15 min to get through. Chat can take up to 2 hours. Most of the time they don't give an answer for the reason for the delay and all you get is a promise to ship out ASAP. One time it took them 28 days and package came from 50 miles away... We purchased a Samsung refrigerator and Samsung range brand new in late 2017, along with a 5 year extended warranty for both. So it all began on the morning of Thursday, 4/11/19 when we realized that the items in our freezer weren't frozen. I called that morning to schedule a repair. My husband and I have been dealing wit this company for over a year now. Last year we decided to update our entire main bathroom, kitchen appliances, and kitchen flooring. Our project was supposed to start January 29th 2018. I would not purchase another appliance from Lowe's that requires installation. A month ago we purchased a microwave. The salesman assured me that he would put a "rush" request to get the unit installed. In fact, the Lowe's installation department advised me 2 days later that he did not even inform them that the microwave needed to be installed which put us two weeks down the list. Do not buy appliances at Lowe's. I bought a washing machine and dryer at Lowe's and their delivery service chose not to deliver the appliances on the specified day of delivery, despite two calls to the delivery service that day wanting to know where they were. I cancelled the order due to non-delivery and now cannot get my money back. These people are totally incompetent and just plain don't care.

Over two and a half weeks ago, I assisted in the purchase of an upright freezer for my 72 year-old mother. She's always wanted one, so we picked out the one we wanted as a Mother's Day gift to her. The purchase itself went alright, but I should've known something would happen after we were told there was a delivery backlog until the first of the month. I wish I could not put any stars at all . We went with Lowe's for several install projects and every single one of them was a complete mess from the time of ordering until install - Our mess of a job starts at the end of December 2018 - We had issues from the start trying to even schedule for a quote one employee told us we had to order our items before we could schedule an install - we left and came back another day - we paid the $35.00 each to have someone come out and measure for kitchen counters - cabinets - garage door ... read more

In July of 2017 Lowe's installed a rusted fence. When I pointed this out to their workmen they told me to get a wire brush and a can of WD-40 and brush the rust out. I told them that I paid $1,600 and was not brushing anything out. They told me they'd come back "next week" to replace the rusted fence. After several months of phone calls (the attorney general being one of them) Lowe's finally did what they said they'd do. And it only took them TWO YEARS to do it! Terrible customer service,
