Highly recommend folks take their business elsewhere. Purchased a riding mower from Lowes in June of 2017 with the additional extended warranty/protection plan. On July 30, 2018 my mower started leaking oil from the valve cover gasket and would not start. I contacted Lowes (August 6, 2018) and filed a claim against the protection plan. I was asked by the associate to describe the issues with the mower. I stated that it is leaking oil and will not start. Worst installation ever front door had about an inch of a cap from the stone to the trim, windows were not installed incorrectly to make matters worse I had to have one of my contractors come over and tell me this today, which was abstrusely horrible. I will never recommend anyone to lowes every again. I will stick to buying light bulbs.

I love Lowe's, as a company, but this store in Fort Collins is terrible and makes the company look bad. Any time I go into this store, they are either out of stock on what I need, or their appliance department is giving me the worst nightmares of my life. I've ordered appliances for delivery, twice, in just 1 year, and twice, I've had issues. Both times, my deliveries were delayed. My first nightmare with their appliance department was a year ago. Lowe's has refused service to me. They cancelled my carpet order alleging they didn't like my comments. I had asked what the hidden charges were since they offered Free install but I was being charged extra fees that weren't disclosed. They explained that the computer charges a penny Times the total SqFt per line item. I guess my questioning didn't go well with management. I have had excellent customer service at Lowes, Clemson Blvd, Anderson, SC. I am a regular customer and have purchased most of my home appliances at this store. My complaint is regarding the 5 year extended appliance warranty that I purchased on my Frigidaire refrigerator. The sales person encouraged me to purchase this warranty by informing me of the lemon policy that would protect us if we were to buy a defective appliance. Service Advantage Warranty program is a misleading. When you are enticed to purchase it they promise repairs. However when something breaks, the repair is delayed. Specifically a broken refrigerator repair time is 6 days. Even after complaining, the best they would offer is a call within 2 business days, which since this is Friday the call will come next Monday or Tuesday and then will be only to offer options. The expectation when the warranty was purchased was that the refrigerator would be repaired or replaced within 24 h... read more

No stars should be a choice. I signed a contract with Lowe's in San Antonio to replace my outside deck wityh Trex decking on May 8, 2019. It is not 4 months later and the project is not complete. Lowe's required 100% PAYMENT FOR MATERIALS AND LABOR up front, leaving the customer with no recourse when the job is not completed. I consistently get great service from Lowe's. The staff has low turnover, so people have come to know me and will ask how my projects are going. Customer service has always gone above and beyond to be helpful. I've never had a problem with deliveries or on-line ordering pickups. a Great company!

The lady answering as "operator" was rude and insinuated that the in-store customers were more important than the customers on the phone. I called the seasonal center 5-6 times and was hung up on twice and three calls were never answered.
