Awful experience with Lowe"s purchase new appliance coming in with open box. Went back to store few time they make you wait for at less 40 minutes each visit. You don't been treat like a customer after paid. Will never go back to Lowe's again.

On 8/30/2019 I purchased a new refrigerator at the Lowe's store on 4012 14rh St W, Bradenton Fl 34205. The store rep wrote down on paperwork that delivery to my home was to be on 9/7/19 and that I would receive a call fro XPO who is their delivery people to give me a time frame. On 9/7/19 I did not hear from XPO so I called them at approx 12:00pm and was told that the delivery would be at the store-not at my home. I said that is not what the store rep told me. We purchased a complete set of kitchen cabinets and installation services from Lowe's in Eastlake, CA. The quality and value of their cabinets is good. We are pleased with the cabinets and especially the granite countertop. The countertop installation company, SD Granite, was great to work with. Lowe's hired a third party installer for the cabinets, and they were terrible. The actual installation, after we received the cabinets in the mail, took 3 months. Last July, my husband and I bought a Troy-Bilt lawn mower from the Shelby, NC store. We got it home, used it once, and the engine locked up. We called and sent t back for repairs.Lowe's then told us to send it to an authorized mechanic in town, which we did. It was there when the 30 day exchange period ended, and Lowe's would not extend the exchange period, even though the mower was being repaired during that time. On Sept. 17th, 2019 I purchased a small bathroom vanity at the Lincolnwood, IL store also paying for delivery which was scheduled for Thursday (9/19/19). On Wed. (9/18) an automated message was left on my answering machine that my delivery window would be from 7:30 to 11:30 AM the next day! "One hour forty minutes" after my window had expired I received a call from Lowe's indicating the driver had one stop ahead of me! I have never been so upset with a company in my entire life. Our water heater flooded our basement Monday night and was supposed to be replaced Tuesday. However, when the installer came, there were several things that were not up to code that needed to be fixed first so the install was moved to today. No big deal. After serving Lowes as a provider for over a year, the regional manager chose to extort my company by insisting we install products at a loss, and if not we would lose all of our typical contracts. We severed business relations based on questionable ethics.

Don't buy big at Lowes you are better off with a local mom and pop shop. Lowes is perfect for small stuff. Recently bought a snow blower and the delivery service damaged the line that directs the way the snow flies. You would think they would take ownership and replace it but they won't come back out to the house to take the old machine back to replace it with a new one. Nor will they return phone calls. I would have to rent a****** or have a friend loan me there truck. The people working in Waterloo Iowa Lowes have no owner... read more
