Located along the Lockport section of the Erie Canal, this amazing underground boat ride is unique. Using a custom-built flat-bottom boat, visitors go on a half-mile trip through a man-made hydraulic raceway cut out of solid rock, the work of 19th-century genius Birdsill Holly— the man who gave the world the fire hydrant and zoned steam heat. Accompanied by a guide and trained operators, the 1 1/4-hour ride is thrilling and perfectly safe.

It was a Fun & Fact-filled Outing. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone interested in NYS/American History.

Lockport Caves is chock full of history. Our tour guide Paige was great. Full of energy and passion as well as very knowledgeable.
I only wish it was an all day excursion...im told. The tour starts or ends with a paddle boat ride / lunch at one of lkpts finestra restraunts ..inquire at cave tour.The erieCanel was built along time ago..it has many litlle explaining reminders all around our great comunicazione. Make Lockport a Place to Visto on your summer Vacation..talk with the people in and around OUR GREAT CITY. MaW......get your reservations EARLY.
This was an amazing activity! We went on a tour with pur 6 kids, ages 1-10. We all loved it! Our tour guide was full of great stories- not a dull moment! The cave and underground boat ride is super cool, for adults and kids alike! We are definitely going to do this again!

Awesome tour! Alexander is our tour guide and he was enthusiastic and informative. My two young children had a blast and my 5yo said he wanna come back right after we left the cave. The cave is super cool and the whole experience is educational and very fun. Would definitely recommend to friends
