Located along the Lockport section of the Erie Canal, this amazing underground boat ride is unique. Using a custom-built flat-bottom boat, visitors go on a half-mile trip through a man-made hydraulic raceway cut out of solid rock, the work of 19th-century genius Birdsill Holly— the man who gave the world the fire hydrant and zoned steam heat. Accompanied by a guide and trained operators, the 1 1/4-hour ride is thrilling and perfectly safe.

Great place to tour!! Ken was awesome tour guide!!! Highly recommend it!!!
What a great adventure, we reserved our tickets on line, and hour before for Saturday. Paige was our guide...answered all the 8 year old questions, Loved the experience, learned a lot...DO it this was an fun morning adventure...going to go back in October for the nite tour! And catch Lake effect Ice Cream when you are done....right around the corner. The Rotary Club from Lockport was doing lock demonstrations on Saturday....very interesting to watch..
Anthony was our tour guide! My friend and I really enjoyed him! He was knowledgeable and quite witty with his jokes! I was nervous the tour might be short and quick but it was actually longer than expected. Anthony shared so many cool historical facts about the port, caves and area in general. I would totally recommend it! Affordable too- can't beat that!
Great tour of both the Erie Canal locks and the cave and boat ride. Sarah was our guide and she rocked!! Highly recommend taking this tour!!
We went on this tour yesterday. Sarah was our guide and she was excellent! She was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. We really enjoyed the tour and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family!

Went on a tour with 3 kids (3,6 & 16) and we all enjoyed it! The kids favorite part of the tour was the boat ride in the cave. Zach was a awesome tour guide - entertaining, patient with the kids and their questions, and very informative.

The coolest thing my family and I have done in a long time....so much history in lockport!! Who knew!? Lol!! Thank you lockport caves for an awesome time!!!!
The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the locks, cave, and history of the area. Combined with a great sense of humor, it made for a very enjoyable tour. If you haven't visited or are simply looking for something that the whole family can do, I highly recommend this tour.
