My loan process was outstanding. I had a ton of questions as I have never refi'd before. I talked to 4 different loan companies before I chose Loan Depot. Their customer service, and responsiveness was why I selected them. Their rates were competitive, costs competitive, and all lenders out there have something to offer or 'beat their competition'. Loan Depot was very through and friendly. Their process was quite lengthy and difficult, for someone who would not be tech savy. Their staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

After receiving hundreds of phone calls from this business I finally answered one of their phone calls. BAD MISTAKE. I talked to a nice speaking gent. I told him right up front what sort of house I had as other mortgage companies said they did not finance manufactured homes. This gent said his company did refinance this type of home. After filling the paper work out and being told settlement would be soon, I then get a kicked down offer after appraisal says my home is a manufactured home. I had to refinance my home after a divorce. I worked with Kim Thach and Gary Gass. They were the utmost professionals I have ever worked with. They made my transaction run so smooth. I personally have had a great experience with loanDepot. I initially worked with Yousuf S*** on my refinance and he helped me get into the loan I needed and got everything squared away. He was very informative and not pushy at all. He made sure I got all the correct paperwork I needed and it was so convenient to upload everything from the computer. During my seach for a company to refinace my mortgage and HELOC, I interfaced with three companies and found that refi-companies have evolved to where they hire “order takers” rather than knowledgeable “sales persons”. I guess this business model works for those companies, because there is currently enough business for them.
