Absolutely HORRIBLE experience – this company should have its processes audited! I would NEVER close with LoandDepot ever again! Note: this review applies to LoanDepot’s New Jersey Special Products Department. They have multiple locations/departments elsewhere and I believe that is why they have 70% positive feedback on here. In the beginning it seem my process with LoanDepot with smooth. However after two different closing dates on my loan everything when down hill. Every time I call LoanDepot to resolve a issue I'm having it appear to me their is a lack of communication within the company. I have spoken to several different agents and thus far they are all on different pages. In my view this is very unprofessional and frustrating. I enjoy my current residence. FANTASTIC GROUP!!!! I needed money to put a new roof on my house. LoanDepot is the only place that would help me! I now have a beautiful new roof, AND paid off several large bill hanging over my head. I can't tell you how well I am now sleeping. I highly recommend this wonderful group!!!!

I decided to use this company because it was suggested to me. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. Especially if you have to deal with Dolores from loan depot because she is rude and does not explain things properly. I made it clear to her multiple times I am a new home owner and needed help understanding everything but all she could state to me is “well it’s mortgage guidelines” which clearly means NOTHING to me since I don’t work for a mortgage company. Top notch company! Did a re-finance, was bombarded with calls from banks, lending companies offering the moon! Learned most of them withheld info, such as "no points" - but it was buried in the paperwork. Alex V at Loan Depot was my point of contact. Refreshing! Honest, kind, thorough.
