I have had a great deal of trouble with this company, That i'm not sure were to start.1-tried to set up bi-weekly payments, After attempts , I went to My bank and set payments for every 2 weeks to draft half of My mortgage on the 1 st, and 15 of every months. Now let Me tell you that in the 18 yrs that I have NEVER missed a payment, Or was late. So Friday I get a check from LOAN DEPOT for half of payment that was sent 2 wks. Requested a loan quote online, and was called by LoanDepot less than 20 seconds after I completed the request. Initial experience was positive and the quote was fair. However, after reviewing the options, another loan person (not from Loandepot) was honest enough to make a recommendation that I talk to my current lender and discuss the options since my old interest rate is far lower than current market rates. Loan depot was just awesome!!!! Yousuf n Jennifer were absolutely great n made my re-fi experience MUCH better than I expected. They ALWAYS responded to me n my questions quickly n put my mind at ease when I stressed out about the next steps. I went through Loan Depot for my VA Loan. It took a rediculous 2 1/2 months and ended up costing me alot of money! In the end they made more mistakes than I can even list. Money paid back to me for my cash out also took me another 2 weeks to get straightened out, overall the only reason why I stuck with them was due to the beginning out of pocket expenses! Would not recommend them for your refinancing.

Loan Depot was amazing, they delivered excellent personalized service through the whole process. They set me up with a agent (casey) to help us find our home and we couldn't be more pleased. I took a couple of minutes online to fill out a questionnaire for Lending Tree just to see what they had available. Almost immediately I started getting phone calls from 2 companies. I reviewed the info from both and decided at this time I wasn't interested in either of their services. The first company left me alone. Loan Depot has called my phone 63 times in the last 21 days. I was contemplating using the Loan Depot at a later date, but with this kind of aggressive sales approach you couldn't pay me to deal with them.

Be very careful of the information they give you! I paid over $400 for an appraisal for what I thought was a home equity loan with a closing cost of $1800 - After I was approved turned out it was a mortgage with $6,000 in closing costs! Total bait and switch! I will eat the appraisal cost because of my stupidity. But beware of their predatory sales techniques. After I told them I did not want to proceed they got very aggressive. Keep emailing and calling! I’m now being nasty back and would never do business with these sharks... read more
