It is difficult to get in contact with a CSR. When you finally get a rep, they will transfer you to 2 or three more reps until you actually get the right one. The mortgage company mistakenly charged my twice in one month whicj caused my accoubt yo incur over draft fees; now its going to take them up to 10 business days to put my money back into my account. I am in the process of disputing a credit pull which I was unaware of. I had provided all information to them thinking it was for a possible loan to discuss different scenarios. I could have provided them my credit score and definitely do not authorize a hard pull when I didn't actually apply for the loan. I received notification of a change and the hard pull that dropped my points. Even I have a high score, I don't want this impact on my report when I didn't even apply for the loan. I was very pleased with the people that worked with me. The only things was that they said I had money coming back and I asked to have it go against the principal of the loan which I don't see any where on a document. I also received a check from Fidelity National Title Company which should have gone toward the principal not to me.

Loan origination went very smoothly. I made a large principal curtailment payment and requested my loan be recast. Process has been marked by non-communication, incorrect information and extended timeframe to complete. Would not recommend based upon this experience.
LoanDepot provided great rates and funded the loan, but I will not use them again in the future and I wouldn't recommend them to others. I had numerous issues with LoanDepot. I will summarize them into a few buckets. Transparency - Other lenders provided detailed breakdowns of fees in writing during the shopping process.
