Our whole loan process took about 3 1/2 weeks and it was exactly as they stated from the beginning. It was the easiest loan we have ever done. We did a refinance and yes we did pay 500 for an appraisal but were told it would be refunded at the end when we closed. That is exactly what they did. Credited my credit card. They were in touch at least 3 times a week and kept us informed on everything. So easy to close. I just wanted to acknowledge how wonderful it was working with my loan officer (Hannah) to get our loan which was funded 2 weeks ago. She was on top of everything and kept me informed every step of the way. Even the Escrow Officer at my title company remarked today how easy and quick it was to work with everyone at loanDepot. My wife and I are recommending loanDepot to friends. We couldn’t ask for better or more attentive service. I was very skeptical about this company with some of the negative post they have.I talked to a man named Taylor ********* who explained everything to me and was very convincing and true to his word.We started the home loan process and it could not have went any easier,everything was done in about a month faster than I ever thought possible. While the person who contacted me was very professional, a pleasure to work with and who I sent all of my required information to, I still feel that someone didn’t look into everything properly for approval. They only put me further in debt making me believe that only certain repairs on my house were needed for them to approve my refinance. My refinance was declined supposedly because of late mortgage payments which I thought I had paid on time. This also had a bad affect on my credit score. This is a refinance for me. That process worked better than I could have hoped. Was disappointed when I found out they did not offer on-line payment process BUT during 1st month my loan was transferred to NJ office and I am able to do online payment(my loan account # did change but that is how I created my new online account). Now.....I received a letter from Freddie *** saying my loan has transferred / sold to them and I have a new Loan Servicer. the BBB review of new loan servicer was A+ but soooo many negative reviews. Because of the reviews I read on this website, I was very skeptical about dealing with this company. But despite what I read on this website about LoanDepot, my experience was great. I did not get the run around like so many people have wrote on this website. Mr. ****** and Mr. ***** were very professional; when ever I had questions they were eager to respond; rather it was by phone or email. I am/was 100% satisfied with this company.

LoanDepot is a easy to work with company, getting REFINANCED BUT, they sold my loan to Mr. Cooper which is not BBB accredited (C-). I'm really not happy about the mortgage lenders being able to sell a consumer's loan to another company. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S NOT BBB ACCREDITED!
