The overall process was good. The underwriting process or it least communication from the underwriting process was a little "herky jerky", however Jeff P****** was a bright spot as the lending officer. He was helpful, professional and very forthwright about the process. I really felt like he was really trying to help me with my loan. He was a great representative indeed!!

I mailed the right to cancel letter, to cancel my mortgage application by US certified mail. They did not cancel my application prior to the deadline. They claimed that they did not receive it, when in fact they did receive the letter I had my postal receipt with the time it arrived and the signature of the one that signed for it. They later said that person was no longer with them. It seem as if they are not responsible for their employees. I would not recommend this mortgage company.

LoanDepot promised several things that didn't happen. 1. We didn't get our escrow. 2.We weren't able to skip a payment. They said they didn't get the paperwork in in time, missed a deadline. Very unhappy!!!

I applied to loan depot and the loan was approved based on the numbers discussed over phone. Immediately he wanted my credit card # to lock in the rate. I said I was just comparing rates at this time. Within a few days, my Rep changed and the tactic changed as well. The new rep called 2 – 4 times a day, and on the few occasions I answered, all he wanted was my credit card # to lock in the rate. All I can say is TERRIBLE. I'm so mad right now. You guys still owe me my mortgage payment that you took out for October after telling me that my first one was not due until November and now no one knows how to give me back my mortgage payment. I'm so mad right now with Loan Depot. They are crap. They made my bank account go negative because of all this. You guys deserve a 0 star rating. Your customer service is crap. Please give me my money. O yeah and one other thing. GIVE ME MY MONEY ALREADY.
