Poor customer service. They are very friendly when the process starts. Once they know that you are talking to a bank they guarantee that they will beat the offer and later once they fail to provide the service, they become unprofessional, stating that they do not want to waste there time anymore and they are a reputable company and top 5 in the nation. I highly recommend NOT to do business with LOAN DEPOT!

Christopher B**** and Chris R**** worked so hard to close the loan process within 3 weeks. They were so quick and prompt for status update and for processing required docs. They kept what they promised from beginning to end of the loan process. Without them I couldn't get the fund on time. I set loanDepot the first option in my future loan application!!!

It’s been two months all docs signed and delivered, and approved. I am still waiting for the loan cash out. Is there something suspicious or wrong with the company? Are they having financial issues ?

I worked with Loan depot starting in early August. They were constantly moving my "locked rate" date and certainly not to my advantage. When I tried to speak to my team, they were never available. I spent $500 on the appraisal. At first I chalked it up to busy refinancing season but here we are and my lock date again moved out to December!! Fees continue to pile up with a promise of credits that were never documented. I dodged a bullet with these people. Don't fall for the scam of needing to pull out your credit card and then taking out a loan to help refiance. Read the reviews! Do not take an equity loan then have them tell you it can be rolled into a refiance mortgage. It's a scam.

I was assisted by Jason G********. I repeteadly urged him to make sure my income was sufficient and he repeatedly assured me that my income was sufficient to obtain an approval. He made me include my wife's SS income, in his words to "play it safe" He lured me into authorizing an appraisal of my property that cost $ 495. There after, I was notified that the application had been declined due to insufficient income. Loan Depot was exceptional in processing and closing my loan. All people involved were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this service. Air ash and Hilcia were wonderful in helping me

Poor customer service and very unprofessional. Never kept their word despite promising and assuring that everything is being recorded and sending email confirmation. Sent welcome package with wrong numbers and could not correct it to what was promised and discussed. Kept resending with additional errors, then cancelled the loan basing on me not signing the welcome package in 5 days even though the last one was sent 3 days prior.
