Was contacted by a loan officer about a renovation loan that I had inquired about. Was told that they could run a credit report to see if I score was adequate,and when they got the results we could proceed. They run my credit and the loan officer said it was good. Then they asked for checkstubs and other documentation,so we gathered the paperwork and sent it in the washing Aug.2019, then they said they had all they needed and they assigned us a processor and we were told it was going into underwriting Dept. Details not a strong suit for loandepot. Had bids from both Quicken & Loandepot, both at the same interest rate. decided to go with Loandepot because 1st payment would be due on Oct. 1st. Skipping 2 months of payments which I could use to help pay off some medical bills and some other misc. bills that needed to be taken care of. Made those payments knowing my 1st house payment would not be due until Oct 1. Working with Brian at LoanDepot was easy and we were able to get the great rate we were looking for. We closed on the loan and are very happy. I have referred a bunch of my friends and relatives to LoanDepot.com as well.

Awful. Our loan agent Daniel was horrible. Worse than a used car salesman. If we hadn't paid for appraisal and spent over a month dealing with these people we would have canceled the process. In fact I had to threaten that to get things done. Then to top it off a week after I completed my customer service survey I receive notification that my loan was sold to another company for servicing.
