Terrible closing process. No regard for their customers and chaotic closing process. I do not intend to do business with LoanDepot ever again. I have already responded to their survey and provided detailed feedback and they didn't care to file up with me or do anything about it. Beware...

Communication with this company was not the greatest and delayed the entire process. Now in our three month waiting period to see if they’ll keep our loan or sell it.

Two months ago I bought an investment property. That bank told me I would qualify for twice the mortgage I got. Then I went to refinance another rental property with LoanDepot. I own several rental properties, 3 outright clear. The difference between my monthly expenditures including my own home mortgage and the rental income (this does not include my salary - which is good) is negative but less than my home mortgage payment. If i could give no stars i would. I started the process to refinance my house with LoanDepot in June. After it was appraised and all was said it was approved the loan officer called me and said that because the appraiser appraised my house to low he would not be able to approve the loan and it was being declined. He asked if i would like to appeal it, i said yes. My house was built to own it was never sold on the real estate market.
