I am currently in the process of selling my home...the first people to put in an offer on the home had a pre-approval letter from LoanDepot. When the couple attempted to reach out to LoanDepot, they were repeatedly forwarded to their original loan officer, Josh Perez. Never will use loan Depot Again!!!!fake promises our loan would close in time!! Had to reschedule all our plans for moving 2 times, we were told our loan would close on time Twice!!! Never ever happened, plus the run around in what type of loan would be offered to us was always changing. Did same damn paper work 2 times!!!!! The representatives we worked with were very patient with us since we are electronically challenged. The loan was completed electronically except for the notary public, who came to our house and was also extremely nice and knowledgeable.

Went with Loan Depot under the false expectation that our loan would close on time. Melanie stated that she would be able to get it done in time and wanted to make sure we went with loan depot for our loan. We had other options and a lender we were currently working with that basically had everything ready to go on his end. Melanie stated she could get the loan done in time likely to get our business even though she knew it couldn’t be done in time.
