We were looking to refinance our home to a lower rate. We were assured by the Loan Depot staff that this would be done in about a month (30-40) days. We were in some what of a time crunch to close because we had plans to get solar before the end of the year. We started our refinance process the beginning of the 2nd week of October 2019. I was looking to re-fi and recieved a call from Loan Depot after doing some inquiries online. The person I talked to seemed very forceful to get this loan processed. They were running a "Holiday Promotion" and kept telling me that the offer was only good till the end of day. Then I called the next day and the offer was "extended". Then I waited one more day to learn the offer was "extended" again. That's when I called BS on this company. Their closing costs are actually very high. Do your research!! The team at Loan depot were incredible. They processed my loan flawlessly and closed escrow 8 days early! I think they are fantastic and the best in the industry based on my 30 years of experience in buying real estate. Plus the customer service of Corvi and his team was superb and guided me through the process at every step. I will never use anyone else!!

The team I worked with, Tom & Clemens, were excellent. From the outset I approached the process as an active team member where we each had deliverables expected to move the process along. When the payoffs on the credit cards lagged the loan payoff a quick communication to the team rectified the situation, with each team member taking ownership of their respective part to hit the original timeline.
They don’t answer your questions . They don’t answer phone calls . It’s been a month I have no idea about if I have the loan or not !!!
I had exact same experience as previous reviewer. My mortgage payoff was supposed to be dispersed on 12/11/2019, today 12/18/2019 still waiting for it to be paid off. When you call them they don not pick up phone or return call when you leave a voice mail. They also do not reply to any emails. I am also sitting and waiting for it to be paid off just accumulating interest in mean while.

Unfortunately, due to the exceptionally high refinance volume occurring nationwide at the moment, there has been a lag in the timing for funding loans. However, Closing USA has made every effort to address issues caused by delayed funding, including making additional interest payments and addressing any other cash issues that arise.
