very customer oriented until i was late with a payment. LoanDepot called, mailed letters and used fear tactics such as how the late payment would affect my credit score and even hints of foreclosure. Fast forward 1 year, I refinanced and paid off my loan. Unfortunately, i did not stop my online banking from making one extra payment. The loan process was smooth until the very end. I signed loan documents and it is a week later and nothing has been funded. I've never seen anything like it. This is my 7th refi and everything up to signing is the hard part; after signing is easy and should move through seamlessly. This delay is not only worrisome, but will cause me problems with other creditors since funds are being disbursed late...and I don't even know when. No one will answer emails except the lending officer who has no answers.
