With the pandemic in full force, my loan depot contacts were working from home, with slow internet, in house software that might or might not work, working with other departments to process my loan. This could have been a major problem, but the loan depot employees I worked with kept the loan moving through all departments and closed on time with the rate I was looking for. Thank You!

The process was easy. I felt like most of the time I was kept informed of where we were in the process. Everything was handled in a professional manner. I was able to get a great interest rate and do the refinance the way that I wanted to do it.

Never, ever,ever finance with this copany. I have to believe the 5 star reviews are bogus and the only reason I gave 1 star is because there is no option to leave a 0 star review. After responding to a solicitation from Loandepot while considering a refinance in 2019, we were offered a nice refi deal. Nothing over the top, but a decent deal. In the beginning all seemed to go according to plan, then went downhill quickly. The process took a long time to take but with the situation at hand I had expected some delays. Unfortunately during the process we made another payment on the old loan (also thru loan depot) and that money has been floating in limbo ever since. They were not able to handle the work load, which caused a delay in our paperwork. That delay costed us additional $1,200.00 in moving cost. Loan Depot does a poor job of oversight on their workforce and in the end the customer, like myself was out additional money. I would not recommend this place for loan.

It was the most horrible experience a buying a house they would not contact us they would not talk to us they lied to us the whole process through almost caused me to be homeless after telling me countless times that everything is going according to plan to find out 30 days in they didn't even start the process in the meantime I sold my house that I live in now I have no place to go would not recommend them for anybody they are unprofessional and they are a bunch of liars
loan officer was horrible. was like pulling teeth to get anyone to answer the phone or even return a call. Left me in the dark the entire process. closing documents were not even close to the original application. Had to constantly correct issues because no one would answer the phone. I understand that its hard during this covid crisis, but they couldnt even return a call.
