Loan Depot has done two VA loans for us in the past, and we would gladly have them do it again should the need arise. These two loans have been the easiest of 6 home loans we have done in the past.

Service decent, process was smooth and efficient, VA rate excellent. Reason for 3 stars: Just know now that they will sell your information to dozens of third parties who will crush you with junk that looks like it's coming from LoanDepot; it's a key part of how they generate revenue.

I shopped around for loans between several agencies. LoadDepot was not the cheapest, but by far the most responsive. The most of the team there was outstanding. Clint M**** is the guy to ask for, he knows his stuff and wasn't just happy getting the sale, he was there the entire way. Keith W******* was the processor I believe most of the way and the guy knew what he was doing and was able to close it in record time, even when other lenders said it could not be done. Unfortunately half a star is not an option. I have been trying to refinance a loan with Loan Depot since February 2020 (it is now May 2020). My loan team has been mostly unresponsive and non-communicative. I have complained to customer service on two separate occasions, the first time with no follow-through at all (in April) and the second time (in May) with only minimal follow-through. I have had nothing but trouble with this company from the very beginning. There is a lack of response from this company. They took card information for a one time 20 dollar payment to begin the paperwork but never informed me that they would keep the information on file, and then ran it for 500 a few days later without my consent for the appraisal (had not been provided). Second time I have refinance with Loan Depot. Both times was stress free and I saved thousands over other places. If rates go down further, I will use Loan Depot again.

We worked with Debby M****** and her team at Loan Depot. Everything went very smoothly from the time of intial application through the closing of the loan. Except for signing the final closing paperwork, everything was done electronically which helped make the process go very quickly. I'm detail oriented, so I review documents very carefully. Refinancing with Home Depot was a breeze. The whole process was smooth and the loan was closed in less than a month. The loan officer Richie was the best. I would work with him again any time in the future and have already recommended to some of my friends who needed refinance assistance. Excellent service, don’t have any negative comments at all!!
