We are very pleased with the service LoanDepot provided. They were on top of every aspect of the loan process, the staff was knowledgeable and very professional. From start to finish it took only 22 days! I would recommend LoanDepot to any of our friends.

The LoanDepot process is well thought out and easy to navigate; once you're paired with one of their knowledgeable loan originators (ours was Ms. Riham Ibrahim) it's easy to obtain quotes for rates and quickly make a decision on what loan program best suits your needs. During the COVID pandemic, the ability to tap into our home's equity and refinance an existing loan provided great peace of mind. We highly recommend them!
I would give zero stars if I could. It started out well... But went downhill fast. Upon agreeing to terms over the phone and based on a proposal sent over email. We continued with the process. Upon receiving the next set of documents... They has added extra fees and points. Luckily I caught it and they were quick to fix...but then came the appraisal.. the appraisal was considerably low and used comps that were 60 miles away well beyond the standard of an appraisal. False promises, deceitful, unacceptable can-do attitude, great at wasting your time and money, quick to move forward with loan application and locking rate fee. Underwriting process is poorly managed. We started the three loan processes in November 2019 and was promised quick turnaround of three weeks. Five months later no closing and still wanting more documents. In other words, they didn't do their due diligence before making closing promise. We had the best experience with LoanDepot. Our start to closing time was only about 4-5 weeks, the customer service was amazing. Absolutely excellent!
